Looking around Dubai for houses to rent isn’t easy, specially right now. So when you finally find a place you like, you’re told to use this “APP” instead of being able to just drop off documents and be done within 5-10 minutes. You have to register an account, register your phone number, add all documents online and then fill all details manually too. If you have any questions? No one is there to assist you when the APP gives you errors, (at least in my case because call center said it’s weekend and no one is working in the office) like I got “Lease payment NUL” error and no one could assist me and I was told I have to wait 2 days to get a call back, during which someone could go through the APP and book the flat that I wanted. Now it’s the weekend and the APP is still buggy even though I managed to book and I’m not sure what will happen to my Resrvation as there is a countdown that states it’ll end in 10 hours even though they already charged 12,000 Dhs from my card. What does this countdown mean? Who knows, I’ll only know in 1-2 days.
Is this APP for the convince of the customer or the company? It clearly can’t be both with how it is running right now. There needs to be someone that can help 24/7 if you want to run an APP like this.
