  • Can’t Open The Game Anymore

I seem to be the only one having this issue, but after playing the game for a while (since it’s release few weeks ago) it’s been working “well” as it will crash from time to time but nothing this bad. It will crash each time I get on it. I barely just got my daily reward today then it crashes for the third time. I’ve attempted to open the game again. Crashes a fourth time.
I can’t watch ads for rewards because some ads crash the game, or send you off the game and restarts it.
Otherwise then that I have a decent time playing the game. I’ve played Castle Cats before and I can’t remember why I uninstalled it so I gave Dungeon Dogs a try. It’s more of an idle clicker which I actually don’t like, but this one makes it fairly ok. I soon enough realized why I didn’t like Castle Cats because of the amount of money they want you to pay for one of those VIP subscriptions to get ahead of the game. Always throwing some money grab in your face. As the event plays out it’s seemingly impossible to get event materials because. You can boost them yet, you have to watch an ad which never works. The events only give you so much anyway.
I still love the dog characters and their cultural reference. The story is really the only reason why I stuck around to play the game. There is nothing really commendable about it.
The animations are glitchy and my phone overheats from playing it too much so it’s rarely worth 3 stars for me.

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback and review 🐾 For Dungeon Dogs to run smoothly on your device it needs to have 2GB RAM and preferably iOS version 12.1 or later. You can try to clear up some space on your phone, make sure all other apps are closed. The VIP feature is just to add some extra spice to the game if you feel like it, you can definitely play the games without it if you want 🥰 Set you max level higher and you can get 20 materials per quest 🤩 We hope you can have a great time in Lupinia and Catania ❤
  • ❤️❤️

Great game I absolutely love it, cannot stop playing it! It makes me happy when I see all the little doggies everywhere thank you for making this game
  • Good game

This is a good dame it has a good story to it I love all the dogs and how you can level them up to make them more powerful it is a good game I love doing the battles this game is vary good it is fun and I love it
  • Awesome game boggled by aggressive adds

I played the sister game to this castle cats and both are fun games centered around collecting and upgrading adorable heroes that have variable skills needed to complete various timed missions. I’m a huge fan that you can use click energy to speed up these timers. It makes for a great hybrid of idle elements and active tasks. This new game plays nearly identical as castle cats but it has way too many adds. After every missions there’s and add (some missions take 1 minutes meaning you’ll be triggering adds quite frequently), sometimes opening various in game menus triggers and add as well. It means that for a casual game say you have five minutes to check up on your progress you might spend nearly half of that time waiting for adds to finish. There’s also plenty of bonus from watching adds but why would I take them when you have literally bombarded me with adds. There’s lots of potential here and I know I can use purchase to take away adds, but I think the devs can and should check their adds trigger and scale back a bit. I also noticed some in game menus lagging to close or some x buttons not working on first and second taps.

It’s a great game if you are not bothered by adds or if you supports devs and purchase the add removal.

Due to Covid-19 and the negative effect it has had on our company we decided to put some pop-up ads in the game 😔 This will help us continue updating Dungeon Dogs, Castle Cats, and keep making new games! 🎮 💸Like you say, If you purchase anything in the game the pop-up ads will disappear! We are right now trying to find the perfect amount of ads and we're very thankful for the great feedback you've given ❤ The other issues you've mentioned is also something we're working on to fix 👍
  • Puptastic!! 🐶🐕🦮🐩🐺🦊

I love this game!! I'm also a huge fan of Castle Cats, which hasn't been working lately, its stuck on loading, I'm playing on an Ipad, it would be great if you could look into that (I fixed it! Don't worry about it now). Anyways, back to Dungeon Dogs, I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!! AND MY HERO FRANCIS IS IN THE EVENT STORY, I AM SOOO HAPPY!!!! I love how the controls are the same as castle cats, so I know how everything works, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO A FRIEND, IF YOU AREN'T ALREADY PLAYING, YOUR MISSING OUT!!! The only reason I deleted it is because I wanted to focus on Castle cats, when I finish castle cats, DUNGEON DOGS HERE I COME!! 🥰🥰

  • Doggo overload

As a huge fan of animals, I often look at well, animal games. I love castle cats, and I just found about about this game. I have a dog myself, his name is Charlie, and I found a dog hero that looks just like him! I really like this game, it’s one of my favourites!
  • This game does not disappoint

I downloaded this game thinking: “oh, this’ll just be some dumb rpg that won’t have a good story and it’ll just be boring.” I am happy to say that I was VERY VERY wrong. This is an AMAZING game! The art style is very cute and easy to look at, the story is great, the characters are cute, and the animation for the monsters is very smooth! I think this is just as good as castle cats, wait no, this is BETTER than castle cats! The animation is smoother than castle cats, the art style is cuter than castle cats, the customization is a lot better than castle cats, the size of the characters differentiates. I could go ON AND ON about how great this game is but I’ll leave it at this. Developaws...you did a great job.

  • Pretty Solid Game

I got Castle Cats a few days ago and have been playing a lot of it. I learned that Dungeon Dogs was releasing and was keen to get the game as well. It’s very similar; almost identical in gameplay. The only difference (besides artistic ones like how the enemies/items look) is, well, the dogs. I like the story of rebels working to overthrow a tyrant king more than the pugomancer, it gives the game a bit more of a serious tone. I like the designs of the dogs as well. Gameplay is fine, personally I don’t find the combat very interesting to do, but that’s just what I think. I like the artstyle, it’s pleasing to look at. The only thing I’m a little unclear on is if the rarity of the dogs corresponds to their damage output, something I was also unsure of in Castle Cats. That’s just a small thing though, overall the game is nice to spend time on, or if you don’t feel like spending hours a day on it it’s also a good idle game. I like the option to either manually do the fights or wait for them to finish. Anyways, I’m interested to see where the story goes!

  • Omg

This game is everything I’m looking for and what every mobile game strives to be. It’s colorful, but not too overwhelming. The story is engaging and well paced. The mini games are fun and actually have a purpose! All of the characters are unique, exciting, and most of all, ADORABLE! I love animal games, but I also like the idea of dungeon crawling. Thanks for putting two of these amazing things together! And, if this app wasn’t near perfect already, ads never bombard you! The in-app purchases make sense, and the game definitely is not “pay to win”, so the experience for everyone is fair, challenging, and fun. Thank you for making this sweet game and putting other developers to shame!

  • /•/My Opinion on DD\•\

I’m still kinda starting out and I’m making a review that says something I have their other game “Castle Cats” (another you should check out) and they told me about this game. So far I like this one very much, really like I love the idea of instead of the normal fantasy things like defeating a villain they’re fighting for their rights they’re fighting for a revolution the dogs different bios have nice character to them the music is beautiful the design of it too is quite wonderful too I TOTALLY recommend this is you’re bored and want a new game to play trust me you won’t regret it!
