Would be great if not for a few issues
Occasionally an album will be randomly removed from the app for a little bit, or split into two identical pages, but have different scores and reviews. Also, the home page UI should prioritize recent reviews by people you follow. The fact that it’s a button in the top right corner to see new reviews from those you follow is silly, especially when random reviews will be on the homepage. Overall though, a pretty good app.

letterboxd for music
more people need to get on this app ASAP
No Mods
I used to enjoy this app for creating lists and posting sharing them in group chats and online with friends. However it appears that not all of the album art will save to lists now. For example the new Fleshgod Apocalypse album, when added to a list, the album art just saves as a default all white image rather than the actual album art. I’ve tried “contributing” to the album by uploading a new image, and I get the message that the “mods will review”…. but they don’t.
Several other albums have a similar problem. And zero response from the mods. It makes the app pointless.
Letterboxd for music is an awesome idea, but it requires time and attention, something the developers are clearly not willing to do here.

Hey there, We're working on a big fix for contributions - so stay tuned for that. We have mods and they are working super hard to accommodate all requests etc, they'll get to your request as soon as they can. Thanks!
Find Facebook friends pleaseee
Half the fun of letterboxd is the ability to add friends from real life and see their activity. Facebook integration makes that much easier. Please please add 🙏 Great app outside of that :)
Another needed feature: cloning other people’s lists or otherwise keeping them for later. Annoying to have to follow people just for their lists — please just model a feature off of letterboxd’s “clone list”. Thank you thank you.

wish there was a way to report outdated or wrong information on artist pages in the same way there is to report duplicated albums (less important imo?). several artists i’ve looked through have had very outdated profile photos and wrong/missing discographies

Used to be good until the new update
I’ve had this app for nearly four years now, it has always been so good to me. Now, this update has completely ruined the app and the overall experience of it. The ads are making the app very slow and it won’t stop freezing every minute. It keeps crashing now too.
The new pro subscription is absolutely ridiculous, literally everything fun about the app is now locked behind a paywall.
