  • Good but can be better.

We want access to more user created playlists. When I type in “alternative” I don’t want to see playlists of alternative hits from each decade, or playlists for alternative artists greatest hits. If I wanted that I would type in “Lana Del Ray Greatest Hits” or “Alternative Hits 2010.” I want to see the playlists that people like me have made that feature alternative music. I want to see some random persons playlist that they named “Alternative pregame”. Apple Music has good genre playlists but lacks when it comes to user created playlists. I wanna feel like I’m part of a music sharing community. I want to be able to type in “Bella’s room” and see playlists that take me back to 2008 when the movie first came out. Those playlists exist, just not on Apple Music. Your best creators are out there on some other music app because you won’t give them the platform to do what they do best. Let us cook!

  • Things you can do to improve

-Add two volume options, so the music audio can be managed outside of calls or other primary audio sources, like browsers and social media. Eventually this should be integrated in the iOS and be customizable, but definitely Apple Music & TV to start.
-In the Playlist tab, we should have the option to organize by list or grid, to show off playlist covers (like in the album tab.) In Profiles, they should show as a stack of albums, (or on a shelf like OG Apple Books) as well as a separate stack/shelf for what you’re currently listening to.
-I should be able to manage what albums/songs appear on the “library” menu of the app. I don’t want to have to delete them from my library to make them go away. Maybe include an option to toggle between latest library additions and a customized version. Or just allow me to hide individual titles from the list. That way I don’t have to search up what specific album I’m into right now, since it’s right at the top.
Overall, I’d just like more control over my experience.
Also, why is it that if I delete a song out of a playlist the download is still there but it doesn’t appear in my library? Any song I download should automatically be in my library, but not change the landscape of my Library section, like it used to.

  • Amazing

Just amazing. I’m grateful for this trial, and I’d totally join after the trial, but cannot. It’s a lot of money for me. I know it may not seem like a ton for a lot of others out there. I’m just going to say it, I just got home for being incarcerated, and music is the only thing that helps me with my anxiety, but I can’t afford 7 a month. For the readers, I was sent away for a year(10 mo’s) for no violence, for no stealing, being a menace, nothing. I moved to an area I didn’t know and I was walking home, got lost and was sent away for trespassing. Oh my lanta, I just vented.

I’m so sorry. This is an amazing app, user friendly is an understatement. As I said it helps with my anxiety like none other, no mental health needed. Just music:\ sorry for venting. Could’ve easily deleted, but I’m not ashamed. All this music at your fingertips! Check check and check in my book. Maybe one day I’ll be able to get it. But for now, I’m gonna listen to Justin Bieber? Okay yea, Justin! Randomly played and hey I kinda dig it. It was my birthday yesterday and enjoying this fun music!!! Take care everyone! Life is waaaaay to short not to SMILE, and dance when you’re doing dishes. Pay Life Forward, meaning ask someone “how are things going today?” The. Truly listen to what they have to say. Love y’all!!!! Apple Music a MUUUUST!
