Not sure why people have bad reviews. It set up within minutes and has been working great. My daughter who is only 20 months loves the song Tonies and will independently listen to them while we get stuff done around the house. It has also been useful for helping her calm down for sleep or when she wakes up so ( we let her pick one before bed and one in the morning)

Terrible user experience
Have to register an account to setup a new wifi connection, why?!
Love the product, but the app is awful
Wonderful Tonie product, wish it would work without the app because wow, it’s nearly impossible to navigate the app, or even get it to work. Love my Tonie, do not love the app.
Inappropriate free content
We really enjoyed our growing collection of to tonies but will not be purchasing any more. I could ignore the political and pandering content aimed at women and minorities but drag queens and other sexual content…Absolutely not. Won’t be supporting this child abuse and indoctrination.
Kids love
We have a 14-month-old, a four-year-old, and a six-year-old. All three love it. Plus mom.
Such A Fantastic Toy
Love love love this tonies box, the app makes it easy to set up and keep track of everything while still allowing for such independent play.
Limited app controls make wifi dependence useless.

In order not to interfere with this independence, we decided not to allow direct remote control of the Toniebox through the mytonies app."
Did not expect toat the very be able to set a timer if bedtime, or change tracks - especially since the skip and rewind function doesn't work half the time. Soft tap? Hard tap? Nothing works.
Also there are some extremely inappropriate collections available. Please do better with content filtering and clean up the garbage.

Terrible
The box doesn’t set up, you need terrible wifi for it to work, and when you do hotspot like it suggests it still doesn’t connect. I bet the return rate of this is high. If it’s not I’m surprised
