Keeps logging out
I recently downloaded this app with high hopes, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. From the moment I started using it, I encountered an issue that has made the app nearly unusable: it continuously logs me out.
Every time I try to access the app, I’m greeted with a login screen, and after entering my credentials, I’m promptly taken back to the dashboard. However, within moments, I find myself logged out again. This cycle repeats endlessly, making it impossible to utilize any of the app's features.

A very clunky app
I like the TPG internet, and I like the customer service over the phone, this review is only relating to the app itself. The app is really clunky and hard to use. - It won’t let you say logged in for even short periods of time, so when you have to close the app to check a note or a message, it makes you log back in each time. - it won’t close the keyboard, so the keyboard covers the buttons you need to press when you want to submit a form - the speed test has not worked in days, and when you click the button to submit a support request it logs you out of the app - the message box is limited in how much it scrolls down, so if you need to write more than a few lines, you are writing blind, the text is under the keyboard. - when you input your email and password, the keyboard flickers.

Worst app I’ve ever experienced (not even exaggerating)
This app is terrible. Just swapped over to tpg from belong because of the better speeds at the same price and they had a great app for tracking anything to do with internet or mobile. This app is horrendous it literally deserves the lowest rating it can get. Doesn’t save your login details, makes you use 2FA everytime you log in which is a good security measure however when literally anything you click on in the app causes it to instantly crash it becomes a real pain in the rear end. For an ISP you would think they would have a tech savvy team that can work out how to make a decent app or at the least an app that works to a minimum standard. Really second guessing my decision to change now…

Stay Away
I had an issue with TPG constantly in our business. For a month with no service, lost clients due to phone not working. They don’t fix the issues until you call the media to help you out because they couldn’t help. This is the worst retailer I’ve come accross. You will get a heart attack because their staff are rude and don’t give you to the right person to help. You ring everyday explaining the same things. TPG still hasn’t given me compensation as promised.

Appalling
What an appallingly incompetent company and app. Terrible customer service and apps. Customer service people are nice and do the beat they can under the circumstances. Don't ever use their terrible mobile service. If you travel you will get stuck overseas and be unable to top up or manage account as it uses up your prepaid balance of hundreds of dollars in just days then you often can’t receive sms dual factor authentication to log in!

Disappointed return customer
Was a tpg customer 4 years ago and it was decent back then. Changed providers for cheaper option. Have now returned to 5G broadband. Am so surprised how it seems like tog has gone backwards for its user accounts. Can’t find anything, account contains only the most basic information, difficult to contact customer care, seems phone number is the only option (who doesn’t text/chat/email these days given we are all time poor and can’t afford to sit on hold on a call???), can’t find the info you need online, and the app is clunky and super basic. A really poor effort in my opinion. I like to do everything online and via email but tpg seems to want to make it difficult. Having second thoughts about stating with them. ESP as their plans aren’t the cheapest either. User experience should be important. But seems like it’s taken a backseat. I’m shocked. It feels 10yrs behind compared to other providers. Also app doesn’t stay logged in, nor can you use Face ID to log in.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Currently, the app is stuck in a cycle of trying to authenticate my phone for biometrics - because I mistakenly thought it would be handy. I enter the validation immediately, but it’s expired already!
The touch responsiveness of the app is a joke. The button might be the width of the screen but I swear only one of the pixels actually responds.
And then when you’re submitting a ticket, the screen doesn’t scroll up - instead, the text goes UNDER the keyboard and you can’t see what you’re writing. Then, it’s impossible to submit it anyway because the submit button is somewhere on the bottom of the screen, under the keyboard, which you cannot minimise.
And NOW they’re pushing MORE customer service via the app, which is a joke.

Bugs Beyond Belief!
Every single time I’ve been burdened to use this application I have repeatedly received error codes which cause the application to crash. This doesn’t paint a good picture for an ISP who I am trusting with my private data.
Furthermore the features do not appear to function internally at TPG. After speaking to staff on the phone, they said that it appeared I had contacted TPG via email and not the app. On top of this, they said there was no mention of the specified follow up time for them to call. Why have this feature if the data is not recorded and linked to the issue raised.
Recent experience with TPG making me reconsider my ISP. If a developer is reading this, please look at AGL’s app. It is a fantastic example of a stable and useful design.

When will TPG fix this app?
I can see comments from two years ago from people experiencing the same problem I do every time I try to lodge a fault - text won’t scroll away or down in order for a job to be submitted. The fact that TPG doesn’t encourage callers nor has anywhere in its app to lodge feedback is telling - maybe they don’t want to fix faults or fix the problem with the app? This has been going on far too long, TPG. Fix a glaring and obvious functionality issue that’s inconveniencing your customers.
