Honda eu2200i
Knowing honda’s rep for quality is why I made the purchase. Standing up to it’s rep with no problems to date. I wants the quietest on the market & this is it! You truly can stand next to it & have a normal conversation. Then in eco mode you could probably whisper. Truly truly important! Bluetooth works excellent. Excellent app. Tells you everything you need to know! Price is a little steep but worth every cent. If you’re looking for a generator, this is it. Spend the extra bucks! You will not be disappointed.

Love it! Tells me what I need to know about my generator amp load, maintenance schedule plus running hours. Paired an older eu2200i companion with a new2200i, and now I have a tool to help me synchronize maintenance. All Honda needs to do now, is provide a conversion kit for the older small models.

EU2200i never pairs
Impossible to critique the app since it never gets past Bluetooth pairing. I have followed the directions 4 times now and nothing. The generator works great anyway!

I was having trouble pairing 2nd EU2200I and read a lot on Honda’s web site and forums to no avail but after reading Money Maker 2 review below I was able to pair second unit just fine following his system. Thanks for your input!

App is very helpful in monitoring and managing power in my RV. I would like to see some additional functionality: Calculated Fuel Consumption, Tachometer, Timed Shutdown.

Quiet and powerful
Replaced a year old a-I power suitcase gen because of inability to get a small throttle cable lock or find anyone interested in servicing the generator.
This Honda it super quiet and powerful enough to run a 12 k btu air I my fifth wheel camper. The old generator could never do that. This Honda can be monitored and shut off via the app on my phone.
Pricey but worth it.

EU7000is
The app will not connect to my new generator. After a bit of research my particular EU 7000is does not have Bluetooth capability,which was one of the reasons I purchased this generator. The outlets do not have the rubber covers over them either.
The predator 9500 should have been the route I went with.
