Doesn’t keep up on some shows.
The single reason I bought a peacock subscription was to watch WWE because I did not want to pay for cable anymore and it is only streamed on cable or Peacock TV. They just simply as from what I’ve seen do not at all. Keep up with the Monday night raw episodes. They usually get posted in bulk and are very behind. And sometimes I can’t even find some main events, such as elimination chamber survivor series, and it is incredibly frustrating, recently WWE announced that they would be making the switch over to Netflix and from what I’ve seen maybe a week or so after they announce that they gave WWE it’s own tab and they started actually kind of giving it priority but not really they’ve kept posting stuff in bulk and I’ve seen it over the last few days and they’re gonna be taking it off their site in as of right now. I think it is 9 hours. And they’re rushing to get all the content out when there’s not even enough time to watch all of it and I just kind of find it disheartening. As I can only find the post for Survivor series, and not even the actual thing, and I have looked in multiple different places. I’ve watched some Peacock originals and other shows. Those are perfectly fine but to just throw one under the bus and barely care about it doesn’t sit right with me.

Home Screen
I like the app and what media is offered but I don’t like how unfriendly the user interface of the Home Screen is and it has been ignored for too long as an important part of this platform. On all devices, the “continue watching” category is 3/4 of the way down the Home Screen, meaning it takes the viewer multiple full scrolls past other unrelated but advertised media before getting to the relevant ones that they’re in the middle of watching. That being said, there needs to also be an information button added to the same category for each title page of the shows/movies you’re in the middle of watching as sometimes the episodes are thrown off and you would otherwise need to search that show in a DIFFERENT category all together to access the summarized content and more episodes page without playing the content. This is an important part of the user experience and I feel it needs to be considered even if there are special events/categories that are promoted by Peacock. The content most relevant to the viewer is what is being currently watched and it’s expected that relevant media and content be listed at the TOP of the home page when opening the app.

Total Garbage
If you want an app that gives you no flexibility of shutting off auto play on movies or shows you’d never watch, download this one. If you want an app that’s only interested in showing you ads for shows you’d never watch, even considering offensive material, download this app. NBC is a socialist garbage network and their push of ignorant programming is solid in their Peacock programming. They don’t even try to hide it here. You’re then locked into paying for a year's subscription with no one to talk to in order to cancel. Again, it’s a garbage app and associated programming.
Peacock programmers, I realize you don’t care about this, but adding a way to remove “Continue Watching” history would be good. If someone walks away from their device and doesn’t shut their programming off, you’ve managed to override the “auto play off” clicked option and show your next choice for them anyway. Ferris Beuler’s is not the same category as the adult show you channeled me into. Everyone else has a way to shut this option off and to remove programs in the history or “Continue Watching” category.
I only wanted your programming for the Olympics. Too bad I’m stuck with paying for a whole extra year with no refund.

How do I give 0 stars. I will pay to do so.
This app is one of the worst apps in the modern era of streaming apps. The menu and UI is cumbersome and flimsy and it’s not user-friendly or intuitive in anyway. why is continue watching the sixth menu down from the top? How come when I add a show to my stuff to circumvent that it doesn’t show up. Why am I forced to watch commercials if I rewind too far and then have to rewatch the commercial I just watched? and the biggest issue and reason why I am writing this is the rewind and fast-forward monstrosity that is this app. Sometimes you can fast-forward or rewind 10 seconds sometimes you can squirrel faster sometimes you have a slow faster and fastest menu and then sometimes you don’t have any menu at all to do it. You just have the restart button with the other menus, and when you press the button to try to fast-forward rewind it clicks restart. I might do this 4-5 times watching an episode of something. And then there’s no rewind fast-forward menu after that so I can’t even get back to the point that I restarted from. And then you try to use Siri to fast-forward or rewind and then you hit with a commercial and if you don’t hit the right spot, you have to try it again and you hit another commercial. and then when you’re there, you can’t even fast-forward everyone to find the spot because you have to watch the commercial. Seriously how can I pay to give this a zero star review? I’ll pay more than I pay for the subscription.

Decent content
For the most part i am pleased with the content i watch with the app on roku and ipad. Was so very disappointed that muvh of the Olympics replays were removed within 36 hours of ending. They only left "highlights", basically interviews with US Olympians. With our busy schedules I would have hoped they left all content at least a week. I also wish they enabled removing programs from Continue Watching and Home on Roku. Or that they allowed a thumbs up/down. There's a lot on Home that arent to my taste and I dont want to continue watching content I don't like or get suggestions to watch similar content of what I don't like. I just found live streams yesterday when searching for how to stream the DNC. Live TV is not intiutive and I cant find a way to add/organize a preferred channel to my watchlist. I never did find the show I wanted to watch from scrolling down, Searching for the title came up nil. I have the "no add version" and on some channels saw a logo instead of program. No countdown timer either. The thing I miss the most about leaving cable is not getting NBC Nightly News. I cant tune in at during the broadcast time and they dont offer a replay until the news is 24 old!!! Come on. In this day and age, evening same day news needs a reply button, just like you did for the Olympics. Other than that, I've enjoyed watching stuff on the app. And yes, please add MSNBC and replay for those.

Abysmal Organization of Olympics Content
I signed up so I could watch the additional coverage of the Paris Olympic Games and was extremely disappointed with the way the content was organized. In most cases, I had to search for videos on Google to find the correct link to the Peacock content because the app’s search engine was too restrictive in its results. Additionally, some of the content was only available live and not archived for future streaming, including Gold Zone (they promoted this program like crazy but if you couldn’t watch it from 7am-5pm ET like most people, there was no way to go back and watch it later) and the Closing Ceremony.
The whole point of a streaming service is that you pay to be able to *stream* content whenever. Peacock expects its customers to adapt to something we haven’t had since the invention of the VHS (and later DVR)—watch live content or never watch it at all. It’s absolutely absurd especially given the price they charge for a monthly subscription.
Definitely canceling my subscription. This product isn’t ready for the modern streaming market. I can’t fathom why the NBC executives thought it was a good idea to display how terrible they are at developing a streaming service by encouraging so many users to sign up for their half-baked platform. It’s seriously embarrassing. They should either partner up with a real tech company or sell the rights for their content to one because they clearly do not know what they are doing.

Still The Worst App Of All Major Players
No controls in streaming TV devices 'Settings' for Autoplay of trailers, series etc. Cancel button to not continue is a joke. Forget it if you want to surf their choices unless you want trailers to scream at you every time you pause. IT NEVER STOPS. Don't try to put your baby to sleep while in the same room. Don't fall asleep as they will just keep playing the next episode. IT NEVER STOPS. Are Peacock watchers so lazy and so incapable of making their own decisions that they actually prefer being controlled like this? My husband watches NBC news programs or I would drop this service in a second. I keep the Mute button on the instant he opens the App on Apple TV. I used to like NBC on cable but now it's my least favorite streaming channel. And ultimately what does this obnoxious behavior accomplish? ————————————————————————————————————
Add to this terrible editing for commercial injections. Subpar new TV series content. And the same linear tv shows they have produced year after year. From other reviews posted here there are many other operating issues with the ad version of this app as well. The only thing they have going for them is the occasional movie they bring onboard. They have done virtually nothing to make this app user friendly from the get go and that really shows.

Continue Watching…
Users deserve an app-supported way to remove shows from the Continue Watching feed. The app suggests shows that I would never choose to watch on my own as the credits roll for the show that I am currently watching and if I don’t cancel that suggestion within a short time, the show is stuck on my feed. To remove it, you have to navigate to the show’s page and make sure you are on the last/latest episode, fast forward to the end of the show, watch some ads, finish watching the credits, and make sure you cancel the next suggested show. For ended shows like Sanford and Son it’s not too bad, but I have America’s Got Talent stuck in my Continue Watching feed. I have never watched an episode of this show and will never watch an episode of this show, and since it is a current show airing new episodes, ever time a new episode airs, there it is littering my feed. I have to go through the above steps to keep my Continue Watching feed actually shows that I will continue watching. Paying customers should not have to have suggestions forced into their feeds.
It’s a minor issue admittedly, but if it weren’t for Days of Our Lives being a Peacock Original now, I would 100% walk away from the Peacock app. There are better services out there with basic features that show respect to it customers.

Garbage, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!
New issue! I had a show on pause, came back and the app gave me some error with a picture of the stupid cat from Shrek, and the app signed me out and wouldn't let me sign back in!! So I reboot the Apple TV and able to sign in, but now, literally every single show from continue watching is gone! Items that were in My Stuff is now completely empty! This is the only app I have ever seen do this, and the only app that I continue to have the absolute most frustrating time with. This is it, last straw, I'm buying and downloading the shows I want and cutting my losses with this trash. I just can't believe how terrible this app is.
Third time submitting a review, let's see if this one makes it (my other reviews mysteriously vanish). This is the most frustrating app I have ever used and I cannot fathom how this ever made it to production. I literally cannot watch an episode of something that's already been marked as watched because it keeps playing the last couple seconds and then auto plays the next, and every time I try to go back and select this specific episode, it plays the final couple seconds again and goes into the next. Over and over and over and over. This app is the worst I have ever used, lacks all features, doesn't use native video player, can't disable autoplay, buffers or doesn't play, I don't get this trash heap.

Good Content Bad UI
My biggest critique of the app is that if I happen to exit out of whatever content I am watching, the app does a horrendous job and resuming my exact spot where I left off. Netflix does an impeccable job at this and now that I’ve been using Peacock, it is unbelievably frustrating that if I leave the app for even a second and return back to the screen I was watching, the show is resumed at a much different place than before. This is especially frustrating when it resumes before and add that I just had to sit through for a minute. This is very very very annoying and is turning me off from using peacock all together regardless of the content on the platform. I’m definitely very disappointed by the UI of this platform and I expected more especially as a software developer myself. If Netflix carried some of the shows that I’ve been watching on peacock I would’ve immediately ditched this peacock and moved to a platform that knows how to develop a good and usable interface. Also the ads on this are unbelievable. For a 21 minute show I have to sit through 3 minutes of ads and it’s just such a turn off. Once my subscription ends I am leaving this platform unless serious changes happen.
