Not worth it
I love Lauren but find her app and programs to be frustrating to use: the app is structured to work you out according to the date. If you don’t want to do upper body that day and back track to lower body, it will boot you back to upper body after every exercise. I’m also upset that you lose access immediately after the 8 weeks is up. I have joined other fitness influencers programs and they allow access for 6-12 months. Lauren also charges more then other influencers for a lesser product. Overall disappointed.Love this app!
Yes, this costs more money to get the benefits. It isn’t free to have what you need. However, it’s completely worth every penny. Macros make zero sense to me and this app works those out for me with meal plans. It’s so easy. Then, it gives you a shopping list. The workouts are really good. They are difficult and that’s exactly what I signed up for. You can also track your measurements and pictures throughout the challenge in the app. The support was great as well when I had a question. I can’t wait to do my next challenge!Developer Response
Thank you so much for your review! If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the app and programs please let the support team know. Have a wonderful day! - Team LSFGreat Program - app could use some upgrades
I want to start out that I LOVE these programs and LSF has definitely helped me in losing weight and keep me motivated. But there are a few app fixes that could be made to make the experience better overall:
Workouts:
Ability to copy exercise over from previous week(s). Currently to change exercises you have to open/close the “Swap Exercise” screen multiple times to try and find the exact exercise you did the week prior. Would be easier if you were shown an entire list to choose from, similar to meal switch.
Meals:
Not have the total calorie goal for the day change if you change meals! So annoying if I wanted a smaller lunch and bigger snack that my whole count recommendation is off for that day. Lock down the recommended goals.
Ability to enter in your own personal meal/calorie count. This app makes if very difficult to use your own snacks and you have to try to just pick something you think might be close.
Ability to filter meal or snack options by calorie amount to gain access to all meals. Some days I only need one snack so I’m able to up the calories and need to continuously pick higher calorie snacks over and over to eventually get to the higher options. Example: I see a banana as an option under meals, but it will never show up as an option for snacks.
Glitches:
Unable to load new photos weekly. Will load my weekly photo update to 29% and crash. If I have the LSF crew reset my app I can lose information I’ve tracked this far (workouts/meals) - not worth it so just annoying.
Bonus:
Ability to have progress pictures/weight recordings saved on a backend piece of the app to carry over from different challenges. The fact that this needs to be re-entered for each challenge and if you don’t save on your own device it is lost is discouraging and makes the overall app/program less appealing if you want to use long term.
Overall this app is great and I love the workouts, but to continue to use long term, updates need to be made to make this a hub for all my tracking. Also the fact that if you purchase the program you need to print it off to use again. I would rather just pay you a monthly fee for workout access and the ability to see historical data rather than sign up for 8 week programs.
