I would give it a higher rating but there’s no option to watch an ad for more coins. I am not willing to pay for coins to read one chapter. One chapter can range from 5-7 coins and you only get a few coins everyday for a daily check in; other than that that’s all the free ones you get. Also some books are really long like the story I downloaded the app for is 666 chapters. That’s an insane amount of chapters and after the first 10 you have to pay for each individual chapter. That’s gonna rack up in your money or take a really long time in order to get free coins. Also no book should be over 100 chapters. Other reading apps have an option that you can watch ads to get coins to pay for the next chapter or you can wait a certain amount of time to get the chapter for free. I got hooked into this one book and part of the appeal is only getting to read such a small portion. Well after seeing the ch number go up and up I splurged and brought some coins so I could read just a little moreC well that required me to log in which I had not done ok so I log in. The app froze and took some time to come back up after logging in and I don't know if it was the app or my job's horrible WiFi which gotten even worse at times with construction. Here's my thing that I don't like AT ALL. Before logging in I only had to wait like what 30 sec between watching the ads to get my coins to read the free chapters now after logging in its 2 mins which isn't bad pets say but a lot longer then before I logged in and made a purchaseShow lessbrebre324

I have just started using the app KISS: reading and writing.. I have started reading the story on Facebook My wife is gorgeous but a ex-convict I believe that is the title lol but you only get to read the first 3 chapters and then you have to buy coins to unlock a chapter it cost real money and they don’t give you ways to really get the coins you need to keep reading it would be better if they had more options to receive them like abs You can watch or completing task like commenting on chapters to receive coins or like writing reviews like this I don’t think you can get coins for it.. Idk it’s a thought I really enjoy the app but not sure how much longer I will be able to keep it because although I enjoy it I don’t have the extra money to spend.. I am kind of bummed with this app. For a couple of years, you could pay $10 a month and read any book that you’d like. Now, you get some books free and a certain percentage off on the coins. Recently, all the new books have been over 100 chapters, and I can’t afford to read any of those bc it would be over a thousand coins to do so. I would pay $20 a month if it meant I could read any book that I would like to for free/without spending a ton of coins. Right now I’m rereading some of the books that I’ve either bought or read already, but it’s starting to get a little old. Please, change this or do something different bc it’s starting to aggravate me. Also, the new books that they put out are all paranormal of werewolf books, which I hate. Most likely, I will cancel my subscription, and go to Kindle Unlimited where I’d pay $10 a month to read pretty much any books as I’d like.Show lessKab09876

This is my favorite story app. I don’t like the ones where you have to pick what happens because I never have enough coins and end up missing key stuff. This app, however, is just for reading. It’s fun, steamy, and you never miss any of the good stuff.
If you watch all 10 ads a day, you can get plenty of coins to unlock new chapters each day. You can save up to unlock 10, 20, or even 50 chapters at a time or you can buy one chapter at a time if you can’t wait. However, recently things changed. I can no longer only unlock one chapter. Now it’s a 3 chapter minimum so I have 10 coins but not enough to unlock anymore today.
Hopefully, it goes back so I have the options I need because these stories are good.Show lessMaggsMC07

Not all chapters cost the same amount. Some are 5 coins to unlock 1 chapter, some are 3, 2, etc. The first few chapters are free but there are no stories that are 100% free in the app. It’s a complete waste of time when each chapter is about 10 mins of reading or 10 mins per chapter of the audiobook. I’m assuming the longer the chapter the more coins it cost. You can’t write your own stories in the app like wattpad. You have to submit your stories. There’s no point in completely investing into a story when you can read similar stories on wattpad.Show lessohhlauraaa
Deceptive “free” reading
“Free” is not free! It is discounted!! Currently reading “Dearest Love”, was offered as “free for a limited time” still have around 20 days of “free” reading for this story. This story is NOT FREE!!! You get to the locked chapters and have to pay!! Yes, it is discounted, but NOT FREE!! Use proper terminology!!! If it’s discounted, then say it’s discounted!!! If it says it’s free, that means I do not need coins to open the chapters!!!
Another problem I’ve encountered is that sometimes in the middle of a story, like in “Dearest Love”, the translator changes. Unfortunately in this case, as well as some others, when that happens the names of characters also get changed. In this particular story, not only have names changed, and are frequently changing, and to make it harder to determine who they are referring to, the personal pronouns are also frequently wrong! I really feel sad for authors of these stories. I will not pay to read a story that is so messed up by a translator! If it was truly a free story I’d continue reading because the story itself is good. I will not however pay for such terrible translation! So not free, not willing to continue reading!Show lessSuziqt1

So first of all I love this app, ok, it has a like soo many books I want to read. Like I have started over 10 books but have enough coins to only read 2 or 3 chapters a day and I don’t mean per book. No I’m not a subscriber or a VIP, but still there should be more free coins available for the people who can’t pay real money for coins, but still download your app and are playing on it every day.

Great stories, terrible coin earnings and cost
I would have to agree with another user that the coin situation is terrible. By the time you purchase enough coins to read and unlock chapters, we could have bought a brand new book for the same price if not cheaper. Some times it takes 2 to 3 days just to read 1 chapter if you’re just using free coins. I stopped trying to purchase coins when the app kept trying to charge double. And when you do purchase coins, the app runs through your coins within a few chapters and doesn’t give you a good amount of reading before having to purchase more coins. Very disappointing situation for such a decent app.Show lesshalf pleased
