Diffiucult to buy coins.
I would love to give this app 5 stars. Cause it really is good. I love the book I’m reading, but when I tired to link my Facebook and Instagram for more coins with no luck. Then I tried to buy more coins so I can just read the freaking book nothing but error comes through and says to buy through google play or Facebook, won’t let me buy coins by app apple store or Facebook . So basically I can read one chapter in like 5 min and have to wait a full day till u can read another cause no way you can actually buy coins and I have tried them all; and I have no problem paying but with all their app errors not possible. So-so App
I downloaded this app after reading a snippet that popped up on social media. I immediately received coins for downloading, but every chapter costs 4-6 coins to read, and I found out fast that in order to finish the book I’d have to buy coins (you can earn free coins each day for reading and checking in, but it would take about a year to finish the book that way). I purchased 140 coins for $4.99, which wouldn’t have been that big a deal considering the book was good and when I do pay for an e-book it usually costs me between $2-$4. Unfortunately, even after purchasing 140 coins, and getting 33 free coins, I still don’t have enough coins to finish the book. I’d have to purchase another 30-40 coins in order to finish the book immediately. The stories on this app are good, but this app seems best for someone who is happy to read 1 chapter per day. For anyone who gets engrossed in a story and wants to keep reading, this app isn’t worth the cost.Show lessJosie215215

You get roped in with a chapter that gets you to download the app to get access to the story. You are given a little more content only to discover you have to purchase “coins” to continue reading. $5 for 110 coins. I finished the story with a purchase of $10. After every single chapter you had to use your coins to gain access to the next. Ridiculous interruptions. The stupid part is that their introductory content was good enough I would have paid the ten outright to purchase the story. I did enjoy the story, kudos to the author but I deleted the app even though I had coins to spare.

I downloaded this app after reading three very interesting and very good chapters of a book on a social media app. I was able to enjoy another three chapters before being told I must pay with coins to open the next chapter. As they gave me 20 free coins, I went ahead and opened the next chapter. And then three more chapters before running out of coins. No biggie, I thought. I’ll just buy some. I did the math, and to purchase enough coins to read the entire book I would be spending almost $15. That is ridiculous! This app is a joke and wish I could find that book somewhere else. It was great but they changed things
I loved this app, it was one of the better reading apps I have found. Lately they have gotten really stingy with the coins they give away daily. I don’t mind paying for my reading but it was a huge difference from what they were giving before. Now the app is removing books I had saved from my library and I am not able to reread books I have already paid my money to unlock. It wants me to pay for them again. I was totally addicted to this app but now I think it is time for me to move on.Show less=D bob =P
Do not recommend
I tried this app as it popped up on social media with the first 3 chapters of a book & wanted to finish this book. I thought that if I liked it, I could find some more interesting reads and maybe new authors. What I didn’t know is that they would use this book & the fact that I wanted to finish it to charge me a fortune in “coins” to read it. Over 200 coins and almost $12. I know I could have saved my money and not finished it but they used my love of reading and wanting to see the story through. I don’t care what they say about licensing or whatever excuse they use to charge so much- I can buy a well known author’s book for less on a site that doesn’t act like they are doing readers a special favor or service. I finished my book and deleted the app and I won’t use it again. They used the love of reading against me - it’s sad.Show less?!?!!!!!
Was amazing. Now? Not so much.
I loved this app. Had great books and actually had reasonable “freebie” coins, especially when compared to other apps on the market. It was the only app of its kind where I am actually willing to spend real money because of that. But recently they dropped the rewards by less than half, both for daily check in and reading bonuses. Now it’s no better than the other apps and frankly it’s not worth it to me if this is how it’s going to stay. I plan to finish the one I’m on to use up the coins I have, then I will be deleting. Adore this app
I absolutely love this app just because of all the different books you can find and the different series. The only thing I disagree with is the fact that they changed the point system. It takes forever now for my to try and read my books and I don’t want to have to start a new book just to be able to finish another by racking up my minutes to earn points. Good selection of books
This app has a good selection of books, most seem to be written fairly well too. However the rewards you get for daily check ins and rewards for minutes reading tank horribly after the first week. I feel like you should get rewarded for continuing to use the app, but the daily rewards alone went from 20 to 5, and each half hour went from 8 or so coins to 3. Or nothing. When each chapter costs from 4-8 coins it doesn’t allow you read much at all a day without spending a fortune on coins. Once I finish the book I’m in I’ll likely be done with this app.Show lessKriss199
Coins Are Nearly Impossible to Attain Without Paying
I have one chapter left of the book I’m reading, then I’m deleting this app immediately.
I’d been getting the free coins from the daily check ins and the reading rewards, but the amount given for these things recently changed, giving you less than half the amount of coins for the same amount of reading. I already felt like I couldn’t get enough free coins every day, that I was being punished for being a faster-than-average reader, but this is ridiculous. You cannot get coins from the reading rewards if you aren’t even given a sufficient amount of coins to read a single chapter from the daily check in. I also believe that the daily check in should keep track of a streak, and if you check in every single day, it shouldn’t go back to giving you the smallest amount of coins at the beginning of the week. To go from getting 20 coins one day, then 5 the next is like a slap in the face that doesn’t make me want to be a loyal user. Furthermore, since the change, I currently get 10 coins for “day 1” and 5 coins for “day 6,” which doesn’t make an ounce of sense. The alterations to the app’s coin system made the whole interface unusable for me.Show lessSilentSpeaker01
