Easy to get hooked, but they keep moving the goalposts.
Have been using the app for a few weeks. At first, you got reward coins quite easily. Then, they got rid of half the rewards. A week later, they were back. Now, half way through my reading reward for the day, the task changed from read for 30 minutes to unlock 3 chapters to get 5 coins (it cost 33 coins for 3 chapters and I’m not even halfway through the book!) at this rate, it will cost me 112 coins to finish the book or $8. That’s just too much for a digital short story. Download kindle and use your library card instead.Show lessColin pl
Read Rewards
This app just keeps getting worse! Now we have to unlock 4 chapters before we earn coins?! And the coins expire?! Why would ANYONE use this when you can buy kindle books for $.99?!?!
I used to love this app. Books/chapters are expensive to read if you strictly have to buy coins. This used to be “balanced out” by the fact that you could earn back 20 or so coins by way of daily reading rewards. This is being removed on 5/7?!?! Once this set of Coins is gone, I’ll be deleting the app and moving back to my kindle. I suspect others will do the same. Major bummer!!Show lesskfutns
Better than most romance reading apps
This app gives a good amount of opportunities to earn coins to buy new chapters, but sometimes it gets to the point where you need to read for 30 minutes to earn more coins...so you just have to read new books with free chapters first and then you might lose track of what books you actually were trying to read. Kind of a pain when I'm just trying to keep one story straight in my head.
I also keep waiting for an update to the app, since it is dangling 5 free coins in my notifications if I allow tracking on my iPhone. I can't allow tracking because I'm on the latest software update and the tracking allowance is in a different place than the app recognizes...so I'm stuck with a notification bubble that I can't clear and no 5 free coins to claim.
Miniscule issues, I know, which is why this app is still way better than the others I have tried!Show lessoctaviskjellman

Used to love this app before with appropriate daily sign in coins and reading bonus. When I started, chapters were only 2-5 coins. Then they significantly decreased the coin value, took away bonus and brought back, you need a subscription and then all of my chapters are between 5-10 coins each so I have to sign in for like 4 days just to earn enough coins for 1 chapter!! Plus, with some books have very short chapters but so many chapters, you could easily spend $15 on a single book!
There are many grammatical, spelling and spacing errors in so many books. I have loved the story line of every book I have read thus far though.
I think these updates recently were a poor choice. I also now have a time limit that keeps popping up that I submitted for as a question and no one got back to me!Show lessrjkjjk2010

I downloaded this app sometime last year and didn’t really think about it until right before Thanksgiving and once I saw the stories offered, I was hooked and have been on the app every day since. It’s so easy to earn coins to unlock chapters and each chapter doesn’t need a lot of coins (4, 6 or 8 coins). Given the amount of coins you can earn every day, it’s a super easy and extremely affordable way to enjoy stories!
UPDATE: I’ve downgraded this app to one star, and if I could I would give no stars. Getting rid of the reader reward option makes zero sense, and you say you have users notice the system was changing, but I think more than 3 out from the change was not enough time for users to understand the changes. Then nothing is explained if a user subscribes to the KISS Pass, except we’re being told we can”read for free”. But not really if we’re paying $9.99/month. I’m not even a little bit sad that I’m deleting the app.Show lessscottnl73

2nd Edit: After I’m FINALLY able to finish the book I’ve been on for over 2 weeks I’ll definitely be deleting the app. I won’t be recommending it to anyone either.
Edit: Now y’all took away the rewards we can earn?! Not everyone can afford to pay to get coins to read your books. Now you just made it more difficult to enjoy the app. BTW, I’m still on the same book I was on when I first rated the app. Now it’s going to be even longer before I can finish. Dropping the rating I originally gave. You have to wait DAYS until you’re able to read one more chapter. Not a fan of how long it takes to earn rewards. I’d be very willing to change my rating of the app if I had more opportunities to earn rewards or if the chapters took less rewards. As it stands it’s going to be MONTHS before I can finish the book I’m on. Which is annoying, because I can’t just quit reading it.Show lessehnotreally

Subscription privilege: You can read countless stories for free while a KISS PASS is in effect. And more privileges are on the way, keep a look out for that!Too expensive
I used to love reading books on this app. Only problem is that most of these books are expensive. Sometimes you have to spend over $10 to read a book which is more that what I pay to read books online. I like to support new writers but it’s not reasonable priced. Read rewards helped a bit which they stopped as well now. I have no choice but to cancel this app. I’ll finish the book I’m reading and then cancel it.Show lesswafhwaa
No help from customer service
I’ve reached out several times to customer service. I have tried several times to purchase new coins to continue reading a book I really really like and my purchase won’t process. It tells me to click on a “reset” button ....I took a screen shot of my screen showing that there is no reset button to click on. I’ve gotten to help or feedback to help me. I’ve turned my phone off and back on several times hoping that could help, but it doesn’t.
It’s been forever since I found a good book to get lost in and now that I’ve found one and can’t continue reading it because of this flaw and lack of help really is disappointing.Show lessCRValentine
Kind of Expensive
I saw the first couple of chapters on an add on Facebook, I liked what I read so I downloaded the app. The reading reward system is cool, so is the daily check-ins. Just wished they would give a greater number of coins, at least 4 coins in order to continue reading a chapter. Especially since it alternates between 6 coins and 4 coins different chapters. If you want to purchase coins it’s gonna cost you like 5 bucks to complete a book if not more, and that’s with help of the extra bonuses they give. So my advice is if you’re very patient or have money to burn, get the app. But if not I wouldn’t really since the coin system is kind of flawed at the moment and could definitely used improvement.Show lessDiana Pa beco
New “offer” for more stories and more coins has locked the app
I clicked on it and it keeps telling me to go to my settings and allow it to track, but even when ido that, it still keeps showing me the same screen to go to my settings. Even when I close the app from the background and restart,it does the 5 second countdown with the story recommendation and then immediately goes back to the same screen to go to my settings. I can’t close the window, I can’t go behind it. Tapping everywhere and everywhere on the screen does nothing. I was going to see if I could delete and then Reinstall but I’m afraid I’m going to lose all my saved stories and will also lose all the coins (chapters) I’ve already put into the 74 chapter book I’ve been reading of which I’m on chapter 59 because i didn’t link the account to my google/apple accounts.
