Moreover, many of the games have been low levels of play. Beginners play intermediate, intermediate players play advanced, and no one regulates this dynamic.
I still use the app because there are so few other options. But I now use it reluctantly, rather than excitedly.
If there were more communication and engagement from the people behind the app, I’d feel more optimistic. But none of the feedback I’ve shared has received a response. Overall, I get the sense that they don’t really care about the player experience.

Hey Joshua - we hear you 100%. We changed the way we manage games on our side, at the end of last year we did have the cancellation rate both due to low sign ups and facility mistakes creep up on us. Over the past months we've been obsessed with fixing this. We've rebuilt our host team, streamlined communication with our facilities to minimize mistakes, and implemented a process to follow up on all bad experiences. And regarding players level too we hear you, we identified how frustrating this was for many users so we've started working on a system where we can more accurately and transparently both rank players and share this information with all users. At the moment our games are designed according to certain levels but each player judges their ability and like you mention many tend to overestimate their skill level. We hope to soon have a more permanent solution where players are objectively graded and ranked and they share their position, how long they've been playing for and other facts with the whole team, but in the meantime we are issuing warnings to all players who are reported to be playing outside their true level and encouraging to sign up to a lower skill game and eventually ban them if they're not complying since it can harm others' experience. Our new support channels are open so you can share any of these issues that come up. We really really appreciate this input.
