Easy, quick, reliable
I’ve been looking for volleyball open gyms in NJ for a looong time. I’ve tried Meetup, facebook groups, even going to individual municipal websites with limited success. Even when games are available, it’s a hassle to find up-to-date info, registration is wonky, and level of skill is unclear. GoodRec solves all of these issues. It is by far the easiest way to find games in my area. There are multiple nights available and the leveling is clear so I know I’ll have a good time. 10/10 can’t recommend enough.

Easiest way to play the beautiful game
There are other apps and sites out there, but because of work and other responsibilities I can only play late nights and this is the only one that really accommodates that schedule. Good variety of smaller sides and even 11v11 and very easy to sign up and show up to a game. All the games I’ve found so far have been full of very friendly players, even the ones well better than I am.

I have recently came here from Argentina with nobody to play with. I am blessed with this app. It gave me the opportunity to meet new people who we share a common passion that is futbol. Now I have who to play with, good friends. I recommend 100% this app to anyone that loves the sport & wants to have an amazing time. No matter the time & location, you will have it! Great way to play pick up volleyball at any level
I joined GoodRec when it was still JustPlay so I could get back into playing volleyball. They have a ton of locations everywhere in the city with a great variety of times and levels of play. It’s super easy to sign up for games and I’ve met some really great people at the pick-up games. The admin team is also really nice and addresses questions super fast. There are a lot of volleyball options in NYC but most require you to pay hundreds to sign up for a season where you’re only playing for 1/3 of the time you’re at the gym. With GoodRec, you play full games whenever and wherever you want. Definitely recommend!

Easy to get involved and play a lot!
I only joined Good Rec a few weeks ago but I’ve loved being able to sign up for games so easily. There are a wide range of game times throughout the day so there’s almost always something I can find to fit my schedule. Lake back but still decent competition in games and would recommend for anyone looking to get involved in sports in their local community. You do have to pay for each game but sometimes they offer promos.

Amazing Experience
While I’m new to this app, I can say say it has helped me greatly to connect with new soccer players! The skyline pitch I usually play at was beautiful and I love that I’m able to continue play the game I love.
The app itself is extremely easy to use, it connects you with your host and gives you all the necessary directions to the venue. All around a 10/10 experience. Every soccer player in Chicago should have it!

Great app, could be better
I fly all over the country for work and I enjoy the feature this app has of changing cities so I can join games ahead of time. The game experience is great and everyone is always friendly at matches.
Only thing that could be better is the customer service. If you need assistance with an issue, the app doesn’t have in-app assistance as Plei (another pick up soccer app) does.
Their refund policy could also be better. No refund within 24 hours of cancelling is a bit too restrictive.
Otherwise it is a great app to pick up games and the hosts are always very kind and explain the rules very well and keep the game safe
