OK app with some flaws
My only problem with the app right now is that I cannot delete my profile. I keep clicking “Delete Account” on the settings page and it just keeps saying “failed to delete account”… If someone could please fix this bug that would be great. It’s hard to see users go, but blocking users from deleting account is not the right way to stop the churn.

Great experience
Frustrating Friday
I was the only one among the Brazilians who had already played through the app.
We all live in Loveland, which is more than an hour's drive from the game site.
We arrived at the venue and found out that the game was cancelled, and that there was no chance of having a game. The host Izzy Martinez responsible just cancelled the game and didn't say why or try to contact anyone.
We tried to get in touch several times through the application and did not get a response. We were in 14 people on the court and all ready to play, but the woman in charge made no effort to help us. All of us would just like to play for 1h30, and we are ready for that.
It was a ridiculous situation.
In total, we spent 2 hours driving and lost our Friday night.
I am frustrated and do not recommend the app.

I appreciate that there is no need to have any kind of long chat messages, and yet, if I need to ask any questions, the app includes a message board for each game. You can also see which players are playing in your game, and select each one individually to see their stats and how many games they play throughout the week. They also include a rating system afterwards to see how your game went and how your host was.
Speaking of game hosts, there’s one assigned to every game. They’re the ones in charge of making the teams, explaining the rules, and just making you feel welcome. Lastly, you can pay for your games online, so no need to bring cash. Better than funneling through a bunch of Facebook groups, trying to figure out who’s playing.

Decent App / Poor Customer Service
The hosts aren’t paid at all nor are compensated for their time other than a “free game”, in which they’re the ones hosting in. One might be able to play but the bigger the game, the less time they get to play.
To get a refund, you have to back out over 24hrs in advance, which isn’t always possible, with little to no Customer Service. The only way to identify who works for JP is if theyre the ones spamming invites through the APP or within the in game chat. The games are being more expensive as well.
Personally, the idea of the app is great and it works. But they’re in it to maximize profits and saving as much as possible by hiring contractors abroad who may be very rude / poor employees and treat the hosts with no respect for their time - especially when all they are, are volunteers and don’t get paid.

We felt a significant disconnect and made sure we restructured our team to be closer to the games on the ground which implied working together with hosts and the community in every city and expanding our contact with players. We wanted to hear from everyone directly so we opened up channels both in and off the app so players could share their specific situation and we could review case by case. Our automatic system works on the 24h policy but our human team behind the app makes sure to understand the personal element of things that come up and make sure we address them and refund on those cases.
