  • Use every week day - generally great

    I prebook all my journeys on a Sunday and generally don't have any problems. In the last few weeks my 7:30 car has arrived at 7:10/15. I don't rush around as I booked for 7:30. I've had a couple of drivers knock on the door and ask why I'm not in the car - to which I have politely replied "I booked it for 7:30, need to sort my dogs out and I'll be out"

    Unfortunately, had a car last week that arrived at 7:14, got the automated call. Walked out my front door at 7:20 to find no car. Came back inside and checked the app as I know drivers sometimes decline jobs so it's reassigned but nothing. Tried to book another and couldn't get one. Booked with an alternative company. Cost me £6 more and I was late to work.

    Checked my emails once underway, to see an email saying my journey, booked at 7:30 was cancelled at 7:14. Not redirected just a job sheet with a strike through with cancelled. I was out before the time I'd booked for.

    I've been doing the same trip morning and evening for 10 months!

  • Great driver

    Booked two cars today to take cat to vets for health check. Both drivers were very good but the lady driver who brought me home went above and beyond. I have mobility issues and she very kindly got out and took my cat carrier safely in the car and on arrival at my house she also jumped out the car, lifted my cat out the car and carried him round to me. Lovely thoughtful and caring lady. Thank you!! She is a credit to Drive !

  • Great experience with Drive from a 1st time user

    I live in a bit of an out of the way area. I needed a taxi to take me to Humberside Airport for work. I hadn’t used Drive before but was recommended them by a friend. Downloaded the App a few days ago, then pre-booked the taxi. The whole process was extremely easy, the friendly driver arrived at my house early, took me to the airport without fuss, & I was able to make my flight no problem. Will certainly be using the services of Drive in the future.

  • Disgusting company

    Booked a taxi at 9:29am to pick my little brother up from school at 3pm. They left a MINOR waiting outside of school for well over an hour and a half when we were relying on them to get him home safely as this was his only way of getting home with my mum being at work. My mum ended up having to leave work and go get him herself after we got told we finally had a driver only for them to cancel it. Absolutely appalling behaviour to be doing that to a child when you can clearly see the pick up is from a school.

  • Shocking company

    I've found if we need a taxi I've got to book it for at least 30 minutes before it's actually needed as I'm pretty sure they only despatch the driver at the time of the booking so if they're not close by they'll never be anywhere near on time. Anyway, pre booked a taxi to pick us up from a wedding at 11pm, venue in middle of nowhere so a payment of almost £50 was taken up front, fair enough I thought, at least they'll definitely turn up. Oh no, 11pm arrives and I'm notified in the app that they have cancelled the journey. Got money back straight away but thanks so much for leaving us totally stranded with no way home, not good enough!!!!

  • Terrible customer service,Terrible driver

    This is a honest review
    I never had any bad experiences using drive until today
    Apparently the driver that drove me was a learner as said by the customer service who I went to report incident to.
    He took me to wrong address twice which according to him was booked from the office wrongly.I was calm while all this was happening until he sees his/customer service mistake has made me miss my appointment time and he starts blaming me and became very rude telling me he will drop me off in the middle of nowhere if I said anything
    He made me pay £15 against £6 that was the estimated cost of trip.
    I went to drive office to complain of my bad experience but their customer service rep seemed very unapologetic even while she stated it wasn’t my fault and insisted I can’t be refunded for a mistake that was clearly theirs.

  • Doesn’t have my correct address on there

    Been regular a customer for many years but I won’t be able to continue to be with this app because it doesn’t flag up my address and gives the wrong address street name on the map even when pinned to correct area unfortunately. Hopefully Drive may be able to correct this as time goes on…

    On the whole drive are our preferred taxi firm
    We have had a couple of occasions where we’ve booked and the driver has picked up someone else. But in the whole they are early to pick ups, drivers are friendly and reasonably priced
  • Works fine for me

    I’m surprised by the recent bad reviews. I’ve only used the app twice but with no problem at all. Both from the town centre late on a Friday and had a taxi within 10 minutes. Fare charged to Apple Pay at the end of the ride and always the right price.
  • Horrible service app

    Awful experience, taxi pre booked and never came in the booked time, when contacted about the delay the customer service is inefficient. I do not recommend.
