  • Poor!

    App is supposed to function like Uber but it misses the mark. I always try to prebook but it doesn’t give you any priority over cars and also the note that I made for my booking about a large vehicle due to suitcases is not passed onto the driver-if the app doesn’t communicate necessary information to the office then it is irrelevant. The driver even told us not to use the app for our future bookings-it’s completely pointless and useless, I’ll be uninstalling it.

    Honestly so easy to use ! Paying by card too is just so much easier I love this used this morning and my driver was so kind and polite very professional! I felt safe and will now always use this if I need a taxi ! Thankyou guys!!!
  • Not impressed

    I used the app for the first time as Drive on Friday for Saturday morning, no email or text received to say car had been despatched and make and model etc. as with Micks.
    Then the estimated payment was taken on hold then the actual payment taken and the same on Sunday for the journey home so 4 payments be it 2 pending but If the money wasn’t in your account for 4 journeys I’m guessing you’d be stuffed. If I use again I’ll make sure I have cash!!

    Ordered taxi at noon for midnight didn’t turn up, tried to contact but kept getting cut of as soon as they answered. Got another taxi then they called 1 hr later to say they was there told em to get lost rubbish service!

    Booked a taxi at 7:35am- app said 10 minute wait. After 20 mins I called they said 30 min wait. It’s now been an hour and the taxi hasn’t even been dispatched. If the app had said an hour rather than 10 mins I wouldn’t have wasted my time.
  • They expect a tip when they can’t even arrive on time

    For the past 2 weeks I’ve not had one taxi arrive on time, then they take the longest route around to charge you extra, then expect a tip on top of it. Plus they never seem to have any cars when they’ve bought every other service in Hull pretty much? I can understand to some degree with traffic etc but when you book a taxi 2+ hours in advance and they’re late everytime you feel like you’re being robbed, the whole point of taxis is that they’re faster and private compared to public transport and I’d be better off taking buses at this rate because at least they’re consistent.

    Booked and paid for a taxi through the app, no notifications at all. Rang 10mins after original booking time which I arranged 4 hours ago. Lady said 10 minutes and a car will be there, waited 12 minutes and they said the same to me again. Cancelled and had to arrange alternate travel due to being late for an event. Still awaiting my refund! Will not be using again, definitely avoid! App is unusable can’t check on previous bookings

    Apps not to bad. Paying by card doesn’t work. As when you click the bank authentication nothing happens. So not able to pay by card. And that airpay option is awful. Says won’t charge till end of the journey but takes it straight away and still charges at the end of the taxi. So £7 taxi has cost me almost £20. Now have to wait 7 days for the money there holding to jump back into the bank. The paying by card needs sorting out.

  • Absolute disgrace of a taxi service

    Booked a taxi an hour in advance for an appointment. At the specified time, no taxi was actually available as pre-bookings mean absolutely nothing with drive. 10 mins after, a taxi said it was on its way…only to cancel itself 1 minute later. Missed my appointment. Words cannot describe how much of a catastrophe drive are. This is probably my 20th bad experience with them, they are utterly useless and have no clue how to run a taxi service. Avoid at all costs if you can

  • 1 hour wait

    The app should be more like Hull cars and simply say you’re gonna be waiting 40 mins for a taxi instead of saying 7 mins. Also the fact that every taxi have had in the past two weeks has been an hour late is insane. Normally I’m not the type to complain but when the taxi comes an hour late then in turn makes you late for work it’s kinda defeating the object of getting a taxi and it’s hard not to get rubbed up the wrong way about it. I don’t understand why you allow pre bookings even if it’s been booked a bloody week ago that doesn’t matter?? Like surely it should be first come first served? It’s all very bizarre.
    The drivers are ace! Always get amazing customer service from them.
