  • Thank you!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have hope in my heart for the first time in a very long time. Along with other positive changes, I have worked regular self led EMDR sessions into my day. You guys have provided us with a resource that we can have for free and also for a small fee per month. All other devices out there are at least $100-$450. An app that makes you feel like people out there truly care about something other than just money. I will be purchasing the monthly when I secure my Job. I’m telling everyone who has a need for EMDR about this app. Thank you very much to you all for creating this.

  • Apple Watch and Phone setup

There is an issue with the watch missing it’s turn, unsure what causes it… but after a few seconds it misses and then you have to tap the watch for it to resume its turn in vibrating

Only the Apple Watch 5 allows the user to keep the watch face always on. For all other Apple Watch versions, the best way to keep the watch from going to sleep while using the EMDR Tappers app is to change the wake screen settings of the watch. To do that, go to the Watch app, and then the General settings, followed by the Wake Screen settings. Set the Apple Watch to stay awake for 70 seconds after interactions.
  • Tried to access my phone’s contact list without permission

They only inform you that they will access your contact list and use your email for marketing etc after you have spent $9.99. No option to opt out of this data harvesting. Despicable.
  • BLS good visuals but no vibration

    Hi,
The visuals and syncing with another user were good- but the haptics strength and vibrations did not work. I am on iPhone 12. I would like both sensory components. What can I do?
    Thanks!

  • A million thanks

I’m extremely grateful this app is free. Many including myself have a hard time accessing free therapy tools due to financial constraints. This is a blessing!

  • Thumbs down

Useless unless you purchase the overpriced membership

    Developer Response

We are sorry you feel that way. We have maintained all the original features from the original free app, and we hope that continues to serve those who need the app.
  • Great app except greedy

It’s pretty ironic to make an app to deal with ptsd and anxiety that’s layered with both one time transactions AND subscriptions that interrupt the process hounding you for money and causing anxiety. Capitalism ruins everything.

Also the ads for this made it sound completely free. Seems kiiiiiiiinda like you’re preying on the mental ill 🤔

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we have caused frustration regarding the options for the app. We have worked hard in preparing the materials so that EMDR is accessible for everyone to use. We have different features available on the FREE option (basic bilateral stimulation), the One-Time Fee option (personalization features available) and the Subscription option (all Premium features available). Please contact us directly so we can follow up on your comment and feedback to provide a better experience for you.
  • Disappointed: Haptics don’t work for fee

I purchased the premium version to get the haptics. First of all, there are no vibrations with the freemium version which is why I needed the haptics. I thought the haptics didn’t work but that’s because you’re not prompted to enable System Haptics in Settings. Once that’s enabled, haptics work. If you’re using 2 phones, then haptics only work on the phone you paid on. That’s just dumb. To get the haptics to work together, I would beed to buy a second premium version?! Why have the bilateral audio and not the haptics? I double checked and the haptics are enabled in the settings on the 2nd phone. Also the sensation (on the one hand only, argh) are in a bit of a funny spot and quite short. The connection to my 2nd iPhone is sporadic too - it sometimes doesn’t connect at all or might connect but then loses the connection. I’m using an iPhone 13. I want to use it but it doesn’t work properly. The sensation isn’t really comparable to an actual tapper device.

  • Please advise - Vibration mode, one device

I wanted to add bilateral stim to my guided meditation by Jenna Riemersma. I close my eyes for the mediation so I need EMDR Tappers’ vibration mode. How does one get bilateral stimulation using one device?
My two older iPods don’t have the required iOS version so i can’t use them.

  • Great App

Just bought this app as I was looking for an EMDR app and wanted to try it out!
I love the choice of having sound or sensational vibrational beats that move from one side of my phone to the other which feels more powerful for me and I can use it as I’m listening to affirmations rather then watching the visual beats.

It’s actually a free app but I decided to buy it as I didn’t want advertising and I like to support the person who developed the app. I went to the developers website she’s a counsellor who wanted to support people during covid. There’s an affirmation video you can watch too using EMDR.

I’ve already recommended the app to others I’m a counsellor who had to stop working for a bit because of deep birth trauma so thanks to the seemingly lovely lady for developing something like this! I wish you well! 🙏
