Reviews of Synology Secure SignIn

  • Works 30% of the time

Approval only comes through about 30% of the time and never works the first time. Unreliability causes issues when you need to log in to fix/update something. Going back to pure OTP
  • “Approve sign-in” message fails to appear on my phone

The sign-in requests that I need to approve in order to log in have been *failing to appear* in my mobile app, thus preventing me from logging in to my Synology RS422+ NAS for which I paid hundreds of dollars.

Synology, please investigate and fix this bug. It directly prevents me from using your hardware.
  • Very poor results

This works about 50% at best, I end up using the password most of the time
