Does what it’s supposed to do
I see a lot of negative reviews but I use this app all the time and it works fine. Sometimes you get an error when you scan something but it says you can keep shopping and it will catch up. It always does. Checking out at self checkout by just scanning one code and paying is so much better than playing store employee and holding up the checkout lines.Show lessArea76kevin

App doesn’t work
Used the Tops app one time and after that it doesn’t work…. I can’t access the app after several tries so I deleted it. I have several other apps that work just fine.App is NG
Don’t waste your time
I’m not new to the scan and check out apps, several other stores execute their versions quite well! This app however is trash. It requires you to connect to Tops Wi-Fi, which is whatever, but every time your phone screen times out you it says it lost connection… which it really doesn’t but you have to hit the back button and then go back in to the scan function.
The big kicker for me though was the app was scanning some of my items 2-3 times! I’m glad I was paying attention or my bill would have been almost double what it should have been. As soon as I realized I gave up on the app and just checked out at a register.

Useless
Literally just crashes as soon as I go to scan. Can’t enter a phone number either for tops bonus, they only want to scan it. Well I don’t have a card so now what? Even if I did, I probably couldn’t scan it because the app was developed like crapIrainkoolaid
Won’t connect
After connecting to store wireless the app continues giving an error saying it can’t connect to the shopping system.

I used this one time successfully and it provided some benefit. The two subsequent trips, it didn't work.
Trip 2:
“Problem connecting to the mobile shopping system.”
Trip 3:
“Cannot connect to point of sale. Would you like to retry?”
How many times should we try until we give up?
