Edit: reinstalled app and it found speakers after a couple minutes.
Worked fine on my 12 pro but updated phone and it doesn’t find speakers anymore.Miro87043

Tested with this app before and after paying, with Denon Home 150 & 250 (HEOS) speakers:
This app works fine the first one or maybe two times transmitting something to a speaker, but then it stops working until either the speaker is rebooted, or one can manage to play something else to the speaker — which also may not even be possible without rebooting the speaker. After rebooting the speaker, or managing to play something else to the speaker and then stopping it, this app may work with that speaker again, once or twice.
Quitting and relaunching this app doesn’t affect this issue.
It extensive testing here, we found this app to be currently unusable for any practical use.

I was skeptical about installing this app due to the small number of reviews and the fact that some of them looked fake. I took a chance and purchased it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. The user interface is attractive and intuitive, and the intercom works as advertised. I tried it on 2 different Sonos speakers—the sound was good and transmitting delay was short. It will identify all devices on your network, but you can choose to hide the ones that you don’t want to use. I downloaded the same app to my wife’s phone for free. You can link several devices to a single account. This is an excellent intercom app that exceeded my expectations.Wisdoc85
This app is great and it WORKS!
Other Sonos intercom apps are flaky and unreliable. This one works well and connects to multiple speakers with ease. The text to speech feature is a nice touch, too. Very happy with this app.seanfc
“Necessary for family”?
Three reviews at present all of which have similar words and the exact phrase “necessary for family” makes these reviews very suspect.
That said, I gave the trial a try and it seems to work as described so if you are looking for this kind of functionally I say go for it.
Minus one star for the suspicious reviews.bedlam and drudgery
