Same old thing, pay to win
Playing for an good while, 11 million plus power. Nothing fun here
Uses, the common build blueprint as all the rest of these kind of games. The ones that spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars win. I kind of expected more from the title. Only one side game that’s very limited and not so fun. However, if you like being farmed all the time from people that spent lots of cash on the game then you might like it also has the common thing that you get hit and loss an bunch of troops and resources, and then get the joy of using all the rest of your resources to heal your troops, just in time to be hit again..... joy joy Oh, and the game is full of tile hitters too! Means they attack your gathering troops all the time. Wished it was more like the show, and not so Pay to win. Stopped paying since I’d need to spend about an $1000 to get into the top 100 players. So FTP now time waster. Been playing for an few months about 8 million power. The only thing that’s better, is that I can at lest farm without getting hit every time I send troops out. Still give it one star though. I guess I’m only playing cause of the show!

"Sorry for your experience and we understanding your experience. We are trying to find a balance in the game and meantime there are many events in the game that free to all the player. It is recommended that players try to obtain resources from these events (participate in PVE activities more), and use shield to protect your city if necessary."
Devs refused compensation after Town skin bug
So I had paid over £8.99 for a survival pass, which gives you a town skin and some additional things to earn. But there was a bug which stopped my town skin from showing, I had raised to the developers and they refused to help or compensate in any way because they said the buff worked but the visual skin didn’t. If this was any other free game where you buy skins like fortnite as an example, they would 100% would help and even compensate. Instead the developers refused to help me and closed the support tickets when ever I told them about the bug and said “the buff works, just the skin doesn’t” but I spent money for the skin too!? I highly suggest don’t spend any money on the game whatsoever. The devs won’t help you and you won’t get any compensation for their errors and bugs in the game. Most things are over priced any ways. They still didn’t resolve the issue you can only play this game on wifi as well, no other game has this issue but this one. It’s some sort of server problem where it only accepts wifi ip addresses and not 4g connections. Has nothing to do with your phone provider but the game servers.

Good game, developers tone not so good
The game is good but sometimes the tone taking up by the developers to the players is a little out of line. They need to remember us playing the game keep the game alive. They also need to learn to not suppress freedom of speech in a gaming environment. They latest update for example there are at least 6 (threat to block) phases in the update description. Don’t threaten players then still expect them to play. This latest update has really put me of this game. For example; “TWD: if you take another player into a private chat your account will be block.” me: “why?” don’t add in that feature then if it bothers you so much. like I said remember we keep the game alive and the tone in the most recent update has annoyed a lot of players in my server.

Don’t waste your time
I played this game since the US release earlier this year, and have only seen a downward trend. The developers have shown an unwillingness to listen to player feedback on changes, placing more importance on introducing new ways to encourage players to spend money rather than improving the gameplay experience. Updates will provide no or little information on changes, leaving even mods wondering what events will involve or surprised at changes. Every update will introduce bugs that will never be corrected while new content continues to be pushed. Customer service can be described as poor at best, unable to resolve issues or provide an adequate response to inquiries, that is unless you’re a big spender. Then you’ll need an umbrella for all of the compensation they will shower you with. Ultimately, if you’re free to play, a dolphin spender, or a whale looking for equitable treatment of all players, this game is not for you.

Well Worth It
I’ve played many games like this one, just different genres. Games that appear to be almost identical. Build your army and base, gather resources, join a guild or clan, and raid other bases. But this one is different. You don’t have to spend money to earn the gems that speed everything up. I played for a few days and was already wiping the floor with enemies and moving up the ranks in my guild. Plus, having this type of game in a zombie genre works really well. I love the added detail to the voice acting within dialogue and cutscenes. This game is worth the download and will keep you entertained for a very long time. I normally don’t play games for too long on my phone as they are all pay to win and full of ads and micro transactions, but this game has no ads and don’t rely on micro transactions to succeed. Great game

Doesn’t have to be a freemium game
My experience with these types of games is that they always seem to trap you. You’ll get so far when you have your starter shield, but once you reach a certain level. It’s very hard to progress in the game unless you P2P. But not this game! I have spent money (maybe $30) and I’ve had this game for about 1-2 months. And the reason I spent that money was to get more resources. I didn’t need to but I’m super impatient lol the point of this review is to tell you all that this game is the best MMORPG! They have events in the game where you can receive a TON of resources and 8hr shields (rescue Rick). Plus their daily challenge rewards are fantastic as well. Give this game a try! And once you start, you have more success if you join a clan ASAP. Hope this helps!

Brilliant but….
Brilliant game not stopped playing it since I’ve started but the only problem is a lot of it is pay to win like you can’t get the legendary gears or characters without paying £100+ and it’s the same with advancing your town hall yes it is doable but it’s very difficult without paying I think overall I may have put £100 into it spread throughout the months but you shouldn’t have to do that to be able to enjoy the game maybe if the prices wasn’t so high for some things I would pay more but atm it’s pricey

Turning into pay to win money grab
I played up to town hall level 17 in one region without spending any money. I thought the pacing was really good and I was competitive despite the fact some people had a slight advantage by paying for things. I decided to use what I learned from my first play through and start a new game in a freshly made region. I was even contemplating buying something to help the developer as I had been really enjoying the game. That was until I realized they moved the 3rd building queue you get from a fairly low level (I can’t remember what it was but it was probably around level 10) all the way to level 22. They are trying to get you to pay for one of the many different ways they offer more building queues for money.
I still think it is a decent game but I am really disappointed to see the direction the developer is going. They are trying to force the pay to win aspect when I was more than willing to throw some cash at them before they started to show their true colors.

Quick message to the haters we only do this because it’s survival of the fittest people I am sorry you think the way you do but for me I think the game is only improving so can we not get mad over a game I paid over 40 dollars and I got what I paid for so I don’t see a reason for saying we are getting spammed that’s all we have to say I hope your game experience will improve ones you see it one day thanks for reading

Unplayable
I had little to no issues with the game in my first month. I’ve logged in daily until this last week, about 110 straight login days in, and I’ve had to reopen the app at least 10 times whenever I want to play. The game will get beyond the loading screen and will crash on the first frame when an offer is shoved in the screen.
The game is also only enjoyable if you either shell out hundreds of dollars, or don’t mind being constantly used as a farm for players who spend massive amounts of cash. All the whales will form the top clan and all others have to fight for scraps with no chance of becoming top dog unless you shield and let passive resources carry you to one building’s upgrade every day. Definitely don’t recommend wasting any time or money on this cash grab.
