Problem

I have been using stamp identifier for several months now and love it. However, when I tried it tonight, it kept reverting back to the original screen and would gove me no stamp info. Please help with this situation as I am a worldwide collector and rely heavily on this valuable apo. Thanks, John K Webster

Works good for me

Works great on square or rectangular stamps. I had some that were triangle that didn’t scan but otherwise I was impressed it worked.

Hello. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5 star rating - it's much appreciated! The camera can currently scan only rectangular stamps, but you can take pictures of triangle stamps manually.

Better than a catalog

I use the app more than a catalog. I have all the Scott catalogs, but to keep them uptodate is expensive and they’re behind when they come. Thx

WASTE OF TIME

I had a really hard time getting this to zero in on my stamps in good natural lighting. When I did get a shot, half the time it wouldn’t identify the stamp. I’m talking pretty basic stamps from the mid-20th century. I’m frustrated and in a bad mood. Deleting.

Hello. Thanks for the feedback. Please make sure that the stamp is cropped correctly. If camera fails to crop automatically you can crop manually. How many stamps did you try to identify? Please give it another try and we would appreciate it if you could update your rating.

Stamp identifier

Beyond hard to use. I scanned a stamp I knew what number it was and it got it right. The next one I didn’t know and it didn’t either. What good is this? It’s no smarter than me.

Needs a bug fix

I use an IPhone 13 pro to identify stamps.
After scanning a few stamps and get successful results the app takes you back to the 4 icon screen refusing to identify the stamp when the stamp appears on the selection screen. I have the pro version w/o
ads.

I expect far more

This is a great app to identify a stamp - it’s user friendly - there may be times when it actually looks for exact sane visual provided on colnect as it’s using that database- and it can be irritating as you are taking the photo and it comes back with no results. Also another thing I expect was to line up the list you created as of your scans so that you can use the same list when you are storing . I also wished there was another way to share these suggestions yet there is no communication available for suggestions. With recent made changes of having commercials between scannings I ended up buying the pro package as I find the tool useful and time saving but since I paid now I expect more features other than identifying- like pulling all the scanned stamps with visuals and create a catalog which can be used for store purposes would be one of these features. Looking forward to seing some further changes in the right way. Overall I highly suggest- give a try to the free version and you will get used to this app very quickly
