WARNING do not waste your money on this launch monitor
In reading many reviews I notice that the same problem has been occurring for a very long time. It will not connect and therefore will not work.
If you want this launch monitor for an INDOOR ONLY with a PC and you can get it to work it I’ll be great, BUT DO NOT BUY THIS LAUNCH MONITOR If you are hoping for the “portability/mobile” feature. It is an outright lie and deception.
Read the bad reviews, which are most of them, and you will find that this issue has not been fixed and will not be fixed. They have no plans to do so.
My guess is that this IS NOT a result of Foresight Sports. They were bought by Vista Outdoor which owns the Bushnell brnd.
I have owned Foresight Sports GC2 launch monitor and there were never any issues. In fact you can often find a used GC2 on eBay selling for close to the Bushnell Launch Pro (rebranded and trashed Foresight Sports product).
After this experience I will avoid Bushnell products across the board.
Even if I recover my money I will never recover the headache and time of getting scammed out of 4,500 dollars.

Cant use it without connected to Wifi
It won’t log into the app when you don’t have wifi connected to the Ipad. It works at my house then when I take it to the range it wont connect to the app. It seems like foresight is trying to sabotage the Bushnell product. I talked with someone at Foresight and they assured me I could log into FSX Pro without haveing the launch pro connected which is false. So Im basically stuck not being able to use the FSX at the range. So dissapointing!

BLP complete waste of money
bought the BLP with plans to use with FSXPro on iPad since basic subscription raised to $250 but now has club data… turns out FSXPro app isn’t even up to date so club data doesn’t even show up. for a $4000 unit and $250 sub this is absolutely ridiculous and false advertisement
Login issues
Three months now and always connection issues.
Now my computer, iPad, and launch pro all say I’m logged in. But all I get is a pop up that reads
In order to use your Basic Subscription Device,
please sign out, use the Subscription Login, and connect with this device.
This has been a Miserable experience

It took me awhile to figure out how to connect, BLP is great tho
This app is a joke
For iPhone the CG3 device connects disconnects all time. I ran the update but nothing changed, same problem. I think the company that developed this software should admit that this app don’t work correctly. Please fix the problem.
Support
You can’t use an iPad with this app and display it on a projector or TV. Mirroring is not working. Makes it useless.

Areas for improvement
If this app could address the following it could be a real life changer.
1) Studio (PC) and IOS app should automatically sync. Users should have the ability to view historical sessions from the app and pc. I don’t understand why I am unable to view my previous sessions from my studio on the app. From players/coaching perspective you should be able to practice at a facility and take your app and apply that outdoors and be able to compare all data sets. From what I can tell, I can only view historical sessions on app if I used the app.
2) Mirror screen from app to projector/tv using an Apple TV. FlightScope’s/Trackman/Skytrak all do this - please add this simple feature on the app as well
3) please enhance the graphics.
4) ability to apply launch monitors same barometer info or ability to apply local weather like FSX 2020 and be able to view those conditions in the history and reporting.
5) please add combine feature.

Response from developer
1) We are working with the FSX Live team to create that opportunity 2) We are prevented by the Unity platform, but are working with them on a solution Thank you for the feedback on the other items.
Works well
I prefer FSX 2020 or FSX Play on my laptop, but when I don’t feel like dealing with it this app works very well. Had no issue sending from my iPad Pro to my projector, just used a USB-C to HDMI adapter and it worked great. I do hate how the iPad formats the projected image, but that’s an Apple issue.
