A bit nervous but exceptionally easy
I was a bit nervous based on other reviews but this app only requests information that the requested requests. I can see why people are nervous about using the app, it could do with a tutorial and some information about how the app manages the security of the data.
Open bank made the process so much easier (it’s read only but if you aren’t comfortable doing this you can upload statements manually). ID check was quick and more responsive/less error prone than what I’ve worked with in the past. Saved all my progress so I could do in multiple sittings. Based on other reviews: Don’t click links, I just downloaded the app directly from the App Store, entered my phone number and after an MFA check saw the request as well as who it was from (my solicitor). I would be interested to know what security is in place to authorise who can request information through the app?
