This company will block you from the Facebook group if you say anything bad. Silence instead of resolve that is thier method. Obviously you are upset about the facts. Been waiting over a year for support on my Lycan Rower. I used Kinomap on two platforms for hours zero connection issues. With EXR I get cut out and reset every 5-15 minutes. Profile pictures are inverted still a year later. Software costs double what it should. Never resolved beta testing issues. Love the idea but it’s clear they are just greedy for cash and care very little for what they do. I just don’t understand how some little company like Kinomap can support over 50 brands of equipment but EXR cannot even support the few Rowers out there????? Whyyyyy???

But it seems like with every other update I have connectivity issues every 15 minutes. My rower is still not supported even though they say for months they are working on it. I shouldn't have to move everyrthing electronic device away from my desk in order to fix the connectivity issues. Your devs need to spend some time looking into this. Issues with Nintendo Switch or a PS5 controller. Make a list of them and eliminate them from the bluetooth connections inside this app so there is no conflicts. Check out Zwift. I ride for hours without any issues in years. $150 per year is a lot of money to have these issues. I added a new category to Twitch to stream EXR so hopefully others will catch on and the devs will fix these little issues. I get it... fixing these kinds of issues is no fun at all but it need to be done before you come out of beta and charge people. If I had a free membership I might feel differently about helping you troubleshoot all the issues I have. Even with AppleTV I had issues. My Macbook Pro, no problems. Now on my new Mac Mini M2 Pro... more issues.

Kind regards, The EXR teamThe last three years of my log book is rows of 3-6k. Since trying EXR the shortest was an 8k interval set and my other rows are all 11-15k. It’s certainly done its job so far.

But then you are redirected back to their website and when you try to finish setting up the account, they tell you that your email is being used or that you don’t have an account. I can’t figure this out! Seeing this makes me worry about being put on the endless loop if there is a problem with payment.

This latest version is no better. Developers blamed hardware. I can run Zwift and many immersive games on full graphics detail just fine. The reality is, it’s a poorly written app that is not optimized and likely not even a native iOS / iPad OS app. Most likely they use some porting framework and the results are that it doesn’t work on a very large portion of still currently supported iPads. If you can run iPad OS version 16.3 then you should be able to run this app. That’s how the Apple ecosystem works. I really want to use it, but I’m not discarding a perfectly fine iPad just to be able to run this app. Like I said, if you want to be Zwift for rowers, then you should support the same hardware.

Because of this app, I’ve rowed more consistently than I ever had previously because of the daily, weekly and monthly challenges.
The API integration with C2s logbook is on point. In fact I’ve been able to complete both December challenges for EXR and C2 and set a total distance PR of 150k meters.
The credit goes to the interactive maps/courses which keeps me engaged for long rows. The weather effects and time of day provide good variation. Add in other users boats, ghost boats and your own PR ghost boat, this app meets the mark to push yourself just a little more.
Why I didn’t give it 5 stars … the app is spot on, however; the lack of integration with Apple’s Health or Fitness apps is disappointing . Apple underestimates rowing and it would be great for EXR to push and write data to the iOS apps. I have learned to add the data record to the Health app to account for calories difference between Apple and EXR.
