App stability and features
I am a new Grilla Mammoth customer and I am having problems with this app. The app was difficult to set up. The probe alarm features do not work at all. If there is an alarm, it should alarm loud enough to be heard when away from the phone. Otherwise the alarm function is completely useless.SmokeHill BBQ
Really disappointing
The Grilla Silverbac seems like a decent pellet smoker/grill but this app is nearly worthless. It constantly forgets my grill requiring me to repair it and like others have said every time I go to use it I have to log back in again. I can see how it’d be useful but it’s just not worth the hassle to engage with and feels like just one more thing that could eventually break on the grill.Yobzilla
Love the grill, hoping the app improves
Just got a Silverbac, and I love the grill. The app is okay, but just like everyone else, I’m hoping they improve the connectivity issue and add more features. Having notifications should be manditory for an app like this, otherwise I have babysit the temps. I would also love to see some sort of graph feature, detailing the temps for an entire cook. Or the ability to log and save cooks. Different grill apps have these features, I’m really hoping Grilla implements these changesToldYaAMillionTimes

This app is worthless. 99% of the time it won’t connect. When it does connect, it won’t stay connected through my cook. Love the grill (except for the poorly designed wheels). Hate the app. If you’re buying a Grilla for its remote features, don’t.Mr.Passport
Worked for a year
Just tried to use app. Unit works fine and I am happy with the smoker. The app is useless. I tried to click on help and it doesn’t connect. I deleted the program and installed it again but when trying to do password it wouldn’t connect. I then tried new password and after I get a confirmation email and put new password nothing happens. Waste of timeMortgman
Absolute Dissapointment
I was so excited for this grill and wish I would have looked at these reviews about the app before buying. It truly does Lose
connection constantly, temp alarm doesn’t work, and the app is very basic. The fact that the app hasn’t been updated really makes it seem like the owners of Grilla don’t care.Cj$1294

This app is very finicky. Very unstable and won’t stay linked to WiFi. Worse part is there’s no way to try to connect manually it just says “Attempt #1”. Continuously disconnects and tries to reconnect. Needs some work for reliability. No it’s not my system. There’s full WiFi signal strength at the grill and my phone. Yes the grill has the latest firmware. Please fix this issue.U.S.’s
New update is worse
The new update has created issues connecting to the grill. Layout to me is not as nice and previous. Would be nice to have cook times/ temp through a cool.

Odd lack of settings.
I wish there was more temp settings built in. For a smoker not to have pork temps or bbq temps built in was odd. Plus add the $10 addition or upgrade option for a better WiFi chip. I have wireless mesh and the WiFi signal is weak on only this unit (Mammoth). To be clear I love their stuff (Chimp , Mammoth, 3 piece kitchen unit) but sometimes it is the little things, ie Mammoth handle issue, that can make a big difference.spsullivan
Improvement suggestions
Would be nice if the app used the dynamic island noting grill and prob temps.
Also, same as above but via the Lock Screen status so I can quick glance at temps.Comateux
