  • It’s okay

It read my sheet music well but didn’t get the tempo or dynamic changes. I can’t add them in because everything costs money. It won’t allow me to export it to Flat or something to edit so I’m stuck with a mediocre scan. I wish there was another potion that didn’t cost a ton
  • cant read right

I scanned my music and it literally didn’t play it right at all … like at all. it said the excerpt I scanned was a bunch rests but there are definitely notes. I have no idea how it read what it did (it was a pretty good picture with good lighting). don’t waste ur time lol
  • It doesn’t even soule like how it’s supposed to be

I’m in a class and my band teacher has a big reputation for being the best band teacher and taking the good people on tours all around the world. Now I tried this in hopes that it’ll actually sound like it was meant for it. I used a song that I knew very well to test it out and it turns out 100% wrong. Not only that but the app shows disappointment to my band teacher if he ever tried this app out. And as a person who dreams of becoming a famous singer, I would never suggest this to the people who will be my musicians in the future.
  • Fail. Hasn’t successfully scanned a single sheet of music yet.

Saw this presented a FB ad as a way to scan sheet music to play along with. I’ve tried a few different pieces, including one that was pretty basic stuff. It missed so much, that it’s not practical. I’ve not gotten one both off usefulness out of it.

Please send your scanned scores to support@halbestunde.com. You might be getting a small detail incorrectly and not feeding the sheet music properly. We will investigate it.
  • High accuracy

The scanning accuracy is surprisingly precise, saving me an immense amount of time I'd otherwise spend on manual input.
  • Honestly a scam

The sheet music scanner is garbage. No only that you only are able to take two photos, upload two photos, and upload two files. If you don’t buy there overpriced subscription.

    Developer Response

Thanks for your feedback! You are right, we provide 6 free sheet music uploads in combination, so that you can experience the music player and the sheet music digitization. We do try to keep prices fair, and the App lifetime offer does not cost more than 1 hour of a private lesson. For the amount of features one gets, we consider it a very good acquisition. Hope you can evaluate again and agree with us.
  • I should have known!

It sounds too good to be true, it’s not at all what i needed or expected. I play bass. I don't want to hear a melody played on a bass, I wanted the bass part.
The melodies are just played back with no visual music score to aid people wanting to improve their reading.
I hoped for orchestra parts for serious music as well as simple songs. The current listings are extremely limited. Oh, well. Live and learn.
    I will cancel.

    Developer Response

Thanks for your feedback, it is very useful and we wanted to inform you that we are already developing features to cover your request. A note on the visual aid comment is that actually if you tap the song name you get into the Player and can not only listen but see the notes on screen. You might have missed that.
  • Doesn’t work

I was able to upload scan the first 3 pieces of music for free successfully. After purchasing it I haven’t been able to upload scan anything.

    Developer Response

Apologies, there was a bug with the reader from the 15th to the 18th Jan. All is fixed now.
  • It was horrible

First of all, you only get to take a picture of your music two times then you have to pay for the whole thing and second of all when you can’t hear music it doesn’t even sound like the song it just sounds like a toddler pounding on a piano. It’s horrible. Don’t waste your time in downing this app.
  • Underdeveloped software

For $100 I expected a finished product. I was able to scan a piece of music and then transposed it to the key I was playing in and it was neither savable or printable. In addition, there is no user manual and no email support. Do no buy!

    Developer Response

Thanks for your feedback. Printing the transposed piece is something our team is already working on since we received a lot of requests for this feature. Saving the transposed piece is something we did not think about and we do appreciate the idea! We will implement it soon.
