  • Weird layout

The app layout is bizarre on iPhone. Everything is too far up high on the phone and hits the notch on the top. So you can’t click certain buttons and even the back arrow or ok button are so high up and to the side I have to tap my phone like a maniac until it registers. As if it’s not even on the screen?

Also sometimes when I weight an item and add it to my prep table I can’t get the nutrition info then other times I can for the same item. There’s just so many issues for an app that is tied to a scale that I bought specifically because I thought the app would make things easier.

  • Love this APP & why app often can’t provide nutrient info

I’ve tried to use it several times to scan items for calories/nutrition, & it says it can’t find info— but I just discovered with the apps I scanned, when I experiment & scan them with my camera, they don’t give nutrition info either as often it only leads to the website of the product, not to any nutrient/calorie info. I get it now, the scanner works fine in this app, but the scan codes on the products DO NOT always lead to nutrient info but instead feed a website addy, therefore the app doesn’t get info. Not something to blame Nufit (it’s out of its control). However, it would behoove Nufit to write a simple instruction manual and post on its website, with photos, circled in red items and explanations of how to do various simple things, how to get where, how to edit boo boos, how to search for a food. The app just is not very intuitive to use and I’ve worked with computers and new programs for years intuitively. It was a mystery how to merely input the food to search for. This app is a mystery with no instruction manual, so NUFIT, PLEASE (with sugar on it) put together an instruction manual ON your website and leave a website addy pointing it out. I’ll be happy to read & suggest edits. I bet you’ll get some great reviews on this app then. It seems like it is a very helpful & excellent app but the learning curve is frustrating via experimenting. Thanks!

  • The calories are OFF

The nutrition label for the bagel I ate says 110 calories for 43 grams. I weighed one bagel and it said 50 g was 120 kcal which is 120000 calories. I am not sure why they have two units on this app and will not let you change it. When you scan the food it says calories but when you add it to your food diary it says kcal. I also weighed a banana at 140 g and it says 595 kcal.... I don’t understand. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
