works, but limited compression
I had an 80MB video I wanted to e-mail. Used this app to reduce it by 50% and then reduced it again and that got it down to 26 MB... but a 3rd compression did not reduce it further. I tried a second video (40 MB) and it got it down to 26 MB) in a first compression - but no further in a second compression. Seems to hit a wall when it gets to around 24 - 26MB.Show lessArnie Janson
Standard. The quality of an app you would hope to see from all the other ones on your Mac
No data collection whatsoever, no fee, no subscription options, no in-app purchases, and no advertisements. This is a love project of whoever this amazing developer is. Apple quality with Apple design language, super straight forward supporting everything I tried with it, and the sliding scale to select the size of the output is absolutely mind blowing. Oh, AND THE SPEEEEEEEED. You go ahead an compare the conversion speed of this app to all the other compressors. Light years. Light years ahead. It is a native app using the M1 architecture, no more crappy code. It is multifold faster than any other free competitor, such that would either want your data, your attention (ads), your money (fee/subscription/in-app purchases).
Unbelievable app. Thank you so much! Hope to see a port for iOS and iPadOS, too!

my video got deleted
I had a video of 32 GB size i wanted to compress it, when i click on compress button it started but the bar did not go up evan 1% and gived a erro after that my video was gone.Dx fighter
Simple, Easy, Perfect for What I Needed
After endless Google searches, websites that had a freemium compressor cutting off the file size I needed, and unhelpful browser extensions, I came across the Video Compressor app! This was so easy and suprisingly painless. It allowed me to cut the file size down from 1.5 GB to 400 MB.
