The most helpful workout for living life!
I’m a workout girly. I love lifting, cycling, mountain biking, skiing, mountaineering, hiking, boxing, yoga, you name it! If I can move, I’m up for it. Make it outdoors? Even better! When I say this workout is much different from the rest, it truly is in the best of ways. Lia makes her workouts calming, meditative, challenging, and makes your body just feel so good. I get off and on sciatica, I’ve had back and neck problems my entire adult life after 2 accidents within 3 months (airlifted after falling off my horse and then hit by a drunk driver). Whenever I’m feeling a little off or my back doesn’t feel quite right, these workouts improve the way I feel and how my body can tackle everything from every day tasks to the intense activities my heart lives for. These workouts drastically improve my sciatica too so that I don’t have to go get that massage or go to the chiropractor. I can do these workouts on my own and feel so good in a few days. I started as a monthly subscriber and now am annual. Just try it! You feel so connected and your body will thank you for it by being in less pain, more limber, and tightened all at the same time. I started doing B the Method about a year ago. Had previously been doing a strength training fitness app where I was always injuring my shoulders and lower due to poor form and an encouragement to increase the weight I was lifting. I had been looking for a different workout when someone suggested Pilates. Lia’s app came up in my search and I decided to try it out and haven’t turned back.
I love Lia’s approach where she really emphasizes spinal health and really listening to your body. There is no music which I honestly prefer because it’s easy to pay attention to Lia’s cuing, which is perfect and I feel like even if I couldn’t see what she was doing on the screen I could follow along without issue. I typically follow along with her suggested workouts for the week, which a list that she curates each week to ensure you have a nice variety of cardio, strength training, and stretching and that you cover every muscle group. However, the app contains a really nice variety of class types so it’s also really easy to personalize your own journey depending on how you feel and what you like to do.Show lessExactly what I’ve been searching for!
I have been doing mat Pilates at home for months & absolutely love it, but had exhausted the Pilates program I was using & needed to expand my practice. For months I had been searching for a new program available through an app. I have tried some very popular ones & researched many more, but none were quite right for me. After stumbling onto B the Method & doing some research, I decided to try the free 7 day trial. I immediately fell in love with the workouts! The program is EXACTLY what I have been seeking. The slow, intentional pace pared with the dynamic moves are incredible. I love the variety of workouts available & the structure of the app is excellent. I see & feel incredible results, both physically & mentally. Since starting the program, I have also been asked countless times what I do for fitness & have gladly recommended B the Method to others! I could not be happier with a Pilates philosophy & program & am so thankful to have found it!Show less
