  • Unscrupulous

Literally designed for special needs kids but 10$ a month. What is wrong with you people..?

  • Misleading

Why Apple (App Store) does let this type of misleading keeps going. First doesn’t tell you have to pay. After downloading the app, you have to pay for any service this app can give. Big no no!!

    Developer Response

Hi Ali Fardoost - We are sorry that you feel misled. Proloquo is free to download. It does come with a free 1 month trial, after which it requires a subscription. If you are having any difficulty starting your trial or downloading Proloquo Coach, please email us at support@assistiveware.com and we will be happy to assist you.
  • Very good, but...

I love this app . however , I decided to give it 2 stars . here is why :

1 . the subscription model . please please please please please add a way to pay just once . that alone I would change to 4 stars .

2 . let us edit the right most column . this would be especially useful for adding neopronouns .

3 . don't limit where we can add new words . it is annoying .

I do really really like this AAC , and I would use it over Proloquo2Go or along it if the first change was made .

Hi strawbbpop! Thank you for this feedback - we really appreciate it! We are adopting a more sustainable model of monthly and yearly subscriptions so we can deliver on our promise to you: Access to 24/7 in-app AAC expert support Continuous commitment to update Proloquo and keep it running smoothly on all compatible devices As for editing the related words column, you can certainly add words to that area. Additionally, we have only restricted the ability to ADD new words by reserving some spots for additional vocabulary that we are going to add in future updates. We didn't want to mess up anyone's layout when WE add new words to Proloquo's base vocabulary. If you have questions or need help with adding words in Proloquo, or have other questions, please reach out to us at support@assistiveware.com. We would be happy to help you! :-)
  • Great App very user friendly

Hello thanks for creating this app! I love that you can edit and add your own buttons with ease and that app trains you how to navigate it with the search feature. The only thing I feel that would be a good feature is a favorites tab. An additional coloured tab where u can custom add all the persons high frequency buttons for quick navigation. This would be good for when someone like a support worker or someone who doesn’t know the app needs to use it as well as speed things up for us as parents when using it a a modeling prompt at home for verbal language.

  • Frustrated Mimi

I have had this app and a $10 subscription for three days. When I try to make an account it will not let me add a password. I have emailed the company and they have yet to respond.

  • Accessibility should be free

I think this is on my mom’s account, but whatever. Simply put, there’s no reason someone should have to pay $10 a month to have a voice. Shame.
