Easy-to-use app, lots of free features
What was most important to me with this app was the lack of advertisment-bombarding and pro features. A lot of great fonts, themes and functions are available without paying or subscribing to anything. There are no annoying pop-ups that you would find in most apps, and the app layout is very simple, clear and useful. Looks like the developer has put in a lot of effort.
Just a trivial thing, but if you want aesthetic or really pretty widgets this app is more functional than pretty.

Great app from an indie dev. The best app for making widgets that look the way you want them to.
The developer's podcast is called Under the Radar, it's good stuff if you care about app development. (And no, Dave isn't going to steal your data or hack your phone, he's a super nice guy).

One of the best widget apps out there
This app is absolutely great - it has a amazing selection of widgets that you can customise yourself and actually works when your trying to put it on your Home Screen. There is also subscription but you get a good selection of stuff to put on your widgets. 10/10 and would definitely would say it’s one of the best widget apps out there if your looking to spend little to no money on good looking widgets and widgets that actually work and look good on your phone

Amazing app! I love the variety of options for widgets, and how u can customise it without having to pay for putting in YOUR own photo. A lot of apps do that, but greatly enough, Widgetsmith doesn’t. Pls download this app it’s brilliant. It totally changed my phone and now it looks so aesthetic.

if your looking to customize, this is the one.
I’ve been searching and searching and looking a searching all over the place, and i see this one thinking it costs money. then after searching more i come back to it and realize it’s an optional payment. there are so many free options for a good quality app that you’ll love. don’t keep searching, and try this app instead. it’ll be worth it! i enjoyed it throughly. there are so many options, and when you stop and think it’s not so overwhelming. first, pick your size, then widget type, then fonts and customization and so much more!!! you don’t need to pay and you don’t need to make some weird profile that you don’t understand. try widget smith! come on!!!

This app I’ve had for a few years and never had I ever had to pay to keep my iPad and iPhone looking sweet just the way I like it!
You can buy premium if you like for more advantages but even without it all I gotta do is save a photo for a widget add it to my Home Screen and BOOM u got yourself a hot lookin screen 🔥
With the iPhone update iOS 16 everyone now has and me on my iPhone you can also use Widgetsmith and change the font on your wallpaper and have multiple of them and change between them anytime! You can also add the weather, reminders, date, and more to your Lock Screen as well as a custom text for decoration.
