Was about to send a fax via another app with a 9.99 weekly subscription, then decided there most be another app without subscription cost. Came across Simple Fax which is credit base got 15 credits for free and then purchased another 15 credits for .99 cents and was able to send a three page document. Easy peasy with Simple Fax.

Simple to use, basically pay when you need to fax
I downloaded a couple different fax apps before I figured out what made them simple to use and that I wanted a fax app that did not charge a monthly fee. This one met that criteria. I used my iPhone to download document from email directly into the Simple Fax app, added the recipient fax number, saw that I needed 20 credits to send my 2 page document, chose the 60 credits for $2.99 (one time fee), clicked “send” and received a “successful reply. It was easy! And, I do not have to remember to cancel a free trial or worry about a recurring monthly fee. The one thing I do need to check is if my credits expire. I can see in the app how many credits remain. It appears to cost $1 to send a 2 page document. Hope this helps others. Thanks.
