Downloaded the app, and just keeps telling me to update firmware, starts downloadig and then says fail. Tried numerous times and nothing

It won’t even find my grill
Just doesn’t work
Endlessly tells me my grill needs an update. I’ve updated it with the legacy app successfully, tried both the latest and the prototype, and it just keeps having errors. Have tried to make it work probably 20 times. Awful.
