Digital Invea is a one stop medium for all your Ethiopian passport, origin ID related services for the Ethiopian diaspora. This application allows the users to apply for new and renewal of their passport and Origin ID. Digital Invea provides a secure way to provide necessary details, upload the appropriate documents, conduct the payment, and apply for new and renewal services(of Passport and Origin ID) with a few clicks that take 5 to 10 minutes. All applications will be processed within a secured administrative panel at INVIA centralized office. This reform will convert the manual and time-consuming documentation processing into a robust online process via digital technology.

Impressive change

In 2019, the requirements to renew the yellow card was to reapply. It was unpleasant experience to witness how some employees were treated when they advocated for the truth. My yellow card was unscathed clean. The people who wanted to make the new government look bad, insisted that I should bring my old passport from the early 90s. I was able to provide, but I had to make about 6 visits to the embassy.
This app is a game changer! No need to face unhappy politicians in the embassy!

Yellow card/processing is too long

The app works fine but the processing time for yellow card online is extremely long. It’s also difficult to get yellow card in person at ADIS. The building with INVEA logo should process all INVEA related documents but when you show up they direct you to another place which directs you to other end of the city.
Making easy process complicated for no reason smh.
