  • Awesome for a beginner like me!

I've been wanting to learn accounting concepts and even go back to school to acquire this skill but I haven't been able to acquire the budget I need to attend school again.

    Enter AA Accounting.

This app is phenomenal in that the creator explains concepts in such simplistic terms and then allows you to practice what you're learning. I'm grasping this so quickly, and quite frankly, it IS addicting!

I'm excited to finish the course and I'm definitely going to be paying the $5 for the rest of the course when the time comes. These are skills I will take with me moving forward into opening up my own business. Learning how to properly record the flow of money and how to effectively communicate what story the money is telling is invaluable! It's a skill that can cover many different industries, so I'm excited to learn everything I can!
  • Great Starting Point

I’m a full-time professional going back to college for my 2nd degree… My 1st degree shall not be named but let’s just say it’s “worthless”. I decided to pursue something more material and relevant to my current career trajectory and settled on Accounting. My online classes begin in a week and I wanted to prime my brain for learning again. After sifting through a few basic guides and sites, I found Addictive Accounting.

This app is immenseley helpful. All the concepts and information are delivered so easily and simplistically. Nothing was overcomplicated. I struggled in a few areas (especially when it came to AP/AR), but found that re-reading, slowly absorbing, and going through the modules again and again solidfied my knowledge. I did take notes down while using this app because I find it easier to retain info after writing.

Seriously though, thank you for creating this app. I haven’t purchased the 2nd part yet as I don’t want to get too ahead of myself… Rest assured, I will be unlocking the full content once I’ve dipped my toes in college once more. Again, thank you!

Always great to hear feedback! Happy to know the course is helping you prepare for your formal studies! I am sure you will be a lot more able to handle debits and credits. Thanks so much for sharing! -Cheers, Steve (author/developer)
  • Cramming for a new job

On Monday I start a new bookkeeping job. It’s been a few years since I’ve done this work and this app was perfect for refreshing my memory. It is explained in plain and understandable language and allows the brain to learn and adjust to new lessons. I was already sure I’d be able to do my job, but now I am far less anxious and glad to learn more. I suggest the users only do a few lessons at a time. Learning so much data at once can send a person into an information overload, lol. Take your time. This app is great.

    Developer Response

Congrats on your new job! It's rewarding to hear the course is helping you enjoy your new position with confidence. Thanks for sharing your experience! -Cheers, Steve
