In this release:
Fixed:
- App was unresponsive while syncing, all that is now done in the background.
- Moving the cursor in a currency field and then editing would move the cursor incorrectly after each edit.
- App would suddenly come to a screeching hault, those problems are now fixed.
- Fixed a bug that would re-download all of a user's data each time the app was opened.
- Search bars, and some other text inputs, didn't appear the correct color in dark mode
- When splitting a transaction, sometimes using the "Split Evenly" would give you a few cents extra.
- Using the "Split Evenly" button when splitting transactions doesn't automatically save the transaction.
We've also slightly redesigned the transaction input. Splitting transactions is much smoother. Plus some of the visual bugs in Dark Mode have been dissapeared!

- Transactions that were split into multiple categories now appear as one transaction in Transactions. Tap on them to show the categories it was split into.
Fixed:
- Search view in Dark Mode was clear in the background, ew
- Transaction detail was miss-colored in Dark Mode
- Account details now show up if you have a free account or don't have a cloud account.
- Various crashes and performance bugs!

Introducing OpenBudget 1.4!
===== New =====
- Siri Shortcuts!
OpenBudget now offers shortcuts for automating your budget however you'd like. You can add a transaction using an input from messages, or send yourself a notification with the balance of a category right before you go grocery shopping. The possibilities are endless!
- MacOS App!
Our native mac app is available on the mac app store with all the power and simplicity you expect from OpenBudget, now on MacOS. We've tailored the app to feel right at home on the new platform, and made sure to keep it as powerful and easy to use as ever!
- Reworked Reports!
Reports have been completely redone from the bottom up. It now displays data about subscriptions, and other recurring transactions. The accuracy and speed have also improved, and now displays data in a more glancable way. We've also added the ability to export transactions to both CSV and QIF!
- New Widgets!
Alongside the reworked reports, we've added two new widgets showing a history chart of a category right on your home screen, and the current total balance of your budget!
- New Sync System (Accounts no longer required)
This improvement has been a long time in the making. Accounts are no longer required to use OpenBudget! If you'd like to not use the sync or pro features, you no longer need to create an account and can use OpenBudget in offline mode. Also, the sync system has been improved to be more efficient and less buggy!
The next time you open the app, your account will be automatically transfered to the new system so you won't have to do anything. If you'd like to change accounts or see your information that can be found in Settings -> Cloud.
Other improvements:

- Removed notification request on start

- Not being able to re-order categories in groups
- Group's syncing would sometimes lose their categories

- Custom Icons!
Choose any emoji to set as an icon for a category!
- Category Groups!
Group categories into groups to make your home screen smaller and easier to navigate. Just long-press on a category to create a new group, and drag and drop categories into the group to add them to it.
- New Search screen!
It's even more simple, and faster. If you're on iPad just press ⌘-F to search your transactions. You can also pull down on the home screen on iPhone to search.
- See Category balance while transferring!
