Where’s the support?
Feels like this app may be on the way out. Tonne of automated emails. No support when accounts/gps aren’t linking. Kinda frustrating.
AI coach is on the blink what feels like 75% of the time.

Looks like the developer has abandoned their app
Everything started out good but after completing a training plan and setting up a new one nothing makes sense. Targets are far below what they should be even though the new goal is harder.
Tried multiple times to contact support and have gotten no response. Can’t delete my account and start over - it errors out. The AI coach is almost useless.
I’d skip this one unless the dev starts engaging again.

Improvements
Love the App, would love if you could add a manual entry and would be great if other activities loaded on here such as running.
Good but AI coach features have regressed
A few months back, the AI coach was giving valuable info and tips. Nowadays, it’s mostly pushing nutritional & hydration product placement. Not what I expect from a 50$ CAD / year subscription…
I have no idea why the feature has regressed so much.
@Devs : It would be nice to get more info on your product roadmap… The app is great but the pace of improvement has slowed quite noticeably.

Too basic
There is nothing you cannot get from other similar app which is free and there is no benefit having that AI coach to me. The absolute worst thing to me is the app is stuck in US time zone and all the timing is out of sync … waste of money
Data Delivers
Great interface and way to use your power data to drive performance improvements. Keep up the good work!
Bugs and unsure about benefits
I was high on the app at the beginning, but overtime I feel like it’s gotten worse. Some rides aren’t counting for weekly trends anymore and there are definitely syncing issues. Looks they’ve removed the audio workouts and replaced with references to zwift and peloton workouts. I understand the ai coach is in beta, but it’s completely useless in its current state. Other than graphs and the gamification with levels… I’m not sure why I’d keep using this app when I already have Strava with plugins and Zwift.

Basic
Not sure how to recommend this app.
The AI coach is basic and pretty much regurgitates vague information about the question you ask it if you are lucky.
The crux of the training you are directed to do is a lot of steady rides. Not sure whether I needed an app to tell me 10+ hours a week will get me fitter, but I am following it and it’s quite good if you’re a freelancer with no regular weekly schedule like me, as it adjusts through the week to keep you on target.
I’ve been training a lot for 6 weeks but at no point has the app decided I should have a rest week, which seems odd - it just keeps telling you to do between your average 4 week workload and your all time best weekly workload so you ride more and more and more.
I’m sticking with it for now and features are appearing slowly, but i was hoping for a little more than “ride lots” as the main message

Keeping me on Track
I’ve been finding myself relying on the Breakaway more and more, especially with the new feature of AI. But even before this new feature, the ease of use, the data and the ability to adjust workouts according to my crazy life is priceless. I’m getting stronger and setting PR’s and that’s all thanks to the app.

High expectations, poor delivery
I went through the trial period just to get a taste of it, I’d say it’s useful as a guide and setting targets and motivate yourself to keep training constant. With that said, the AI assistant is (being quite generous) kinda half baked, offering solutions that don’t get really implemented (asked about changing the schedule of my weekly training sessions) and always refers to a poorly executed FAQ section for pretty much everything. As some others, I’ve experienced inconsistent data sync from strava/zwift/garmin connect. Having a discount available on a year subscription from Roadman podcast I was be more than interested on giving it a try but I’ve been waiting already 2 weeks for support to get back to me. I’m not giving my money to a product that gets virtually zero support.
