Great and easy to use product
Klima is a great, easy to use application for the every day individual with a strong environmental conscience. The application allows me to achieve two things:
1- It gives me a clear understanding of the size of my carbon footprint and its constituent parts. In turn, this allows me to understand how I could best cut my footprint.
2- It allows me to offset my remaining footprint in the form of a simple monthly payment.

Such an important app!
Klima makes it super easy to offset your carbon footprint. I was surprised and a little embarrassed by just how high mine was, but glad I can take this action to start! They made it easy and the app is beautiful. Definitely recommend!KMJ220
Step in the right direction
I fly a fair bit for my work, and feel uneasy about it as I am aware that it damages our planet. Yet, I have always justified my travel by stressing that I am working in the humanitarian field. In other words I tell myself that even though I do harm by flying, I do good elsewhere. Now, I am pleased that I can off set my carbon footprint. What this world needs!
Fantastic idea and the app is clear and simple to use. Despite what some people on here are saying about the 30% fees, they need this to get more people involved and to achieve the ultimate goal of saving the planet - come on guys!!!johnmcowen

Simple, fair and long overdue
Finally a great way to offset emissions at the individual level. Businesses are doing this already across the world, and Klima allows each of us to be responsible about what we emit and choose how to balance it with a simple selection of technologies and initiatives. Easy, effective, surprisingly cheap
The point of this app is to let you offset your personal carbon footprint with a monthly subscription, and it makes it very easy to calculate how much that is and to set up the payments. It took me about 10 minutes to set it up and I wouldn’t have needed to open it ever again, but I do go on to see the totals for trees planted and so on because it’s pretty neat to see. The app is beautiful but that’s beside the point really.
I’ve left this review having read two people complaining about fees (have they done any research into UK charities? 30% is low and 2/3rds of that is going on activities that are considered charity ie education and promotion of the green cause) and a third that seems to be demanding we bring down the capitalist system. I’m not sure which system the third person thinks made their iPhone but I’m certain that paying for offsets is a positive thing to do.Show lessJimbo Hickory
30% service fee is outrageous
Love the idea, especially as I travel quite a lot and wanted to offset my carbon emission. Unfortunately, when you go look on their FAQs where the money goes they sneakily say they take 10% to run the platform and 20% to “educate people and spread the word. That’s marketing and PPC!! I can’t believe only 70% goes to the charity and they have the gall to take a 30% commission! This is despicable, please go check out some of the other website that offer the same service and the money actually goes to the charities!Show lesscorels92

We built Klima to create the biggest possible impact for the climate. Focusing only on our own footprints is not going to get us there. We need to get many people involved quickly and grow our collective impact as well. Every $ invested in community growth achieves about 6x the CO2 impact of direct offset spending - because the effect compounds over time. That’s a smart investment if you care about total impact. We’ve set aside 20% for this. We also offer a reduced plan to users that couldn't afford their offsets otherwise. For them 100% of the money goes into the projects.So easy!
This app is so great. It costs very little to offset your carbon footprint and it’s so simple. And as you work on lowering your carbon footprint, you can lower your subscription amount(or not!).Superó sube Jc
