Great App!
I truly never leave reviews for any app just because I genuinely don’t find my input that important but I absolutely have to leave a review. My partner and I were going over finances and went to go check out our saving pods. When we go to login in we are denied and told our account was closed. I immediately begin to panic because we have money in there and I was scared we wouldn’t be able to get it back. I reached out to Ivella after Buisness hours and was nervously waiting for a response and knew I was probably going to have to wait until the next day and was really stressed. Within 40 minutes I had a reply, an answer as to what happened to our account, an our account was back up and we were able to access our funds again. I have never had such quick, efficient and professional response and action from any customer support…ESPECIALLY OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS!!…they truly know what they are doing and take pride in it! Just because this is a newer app please do not let it deter you! Give it a try and see if you like it as much! It also can’t hurt you that their savings pods off 5.15%apy!! Free money?? Absolutely for me!

Near perfection, but needs some marketing adjustments
The execution is almost there, but again some things are falling short which make the experience less polished than the first impression was. The app is genius but there’s still telling of a small start-up poking through in an app that otherwise gives the aura of a large company.
Some outdated verbiage on their site about Ivella+ being $5/mo. If you’re using the split account, not joint, expect to pay $10/mo per partner if you want budget or savings features. I’m hopeful this changes since $20/mo/couple is very high and for most will negate the higher than average APY on the savings accounts.
Debit card colors are not custom despite being shown as such online. Physical card design is much more standard than advertised and the cards are pretty flimsy. I’ll rarely use it so it’s fine, but the card design on their site is inaccurate at this time of writing.
App has some bugs in the sign up process and during card activation but support has informed me those are being addressed.

SCAMMERS
DO NOT GET THIS APP.
Saw lots of ads for this tiktok and decided to give it a look. Went through the account making process and they charge yearly. This alone I thought was weird because I have used lots of finance apps before and they are always monthly but I proceeded with the free trial. A couple days later I had a charge on my account for something called “unit”. Come to find out the app charged me for a year. I had already deleted my account when they took the money out. I spoke with customer service and they said I would send me a CHECK. Almost 2024 and this joke of a company sending checks. It’s also been past 7 business days and still no check. I contacted customer service again and they said one should be sent out in the next 2 weeks.

Does not allow you to connect bank or debit card info
I really wanted to love this app for obvious reasons.
My husband and I wanted to create a savings account outside of our financial institute. The pod formula sounds awesome and you can save for different occasions. However, I have not been able to connect either my bank account or my debit card. It gives me verification error on the bank and nothing for debit. It will log me into my bank account but it won’t connect. My husband had no issues and connected his bank account with a breeze. We both do have joint accounts and I’m wondering if this is an issue. I’ve contacted Ivella several times via txt and submitted an email with no response. It seems this is an ongoing issue based on other reviews I have read on here. I hope they can fix this bug

Perfect for my partner and I
We just opened Ivella a couple weeks ago, and it’s one of the most user friendly apps I’ve ever had. An affordable option for setting saving goals and a great way to organize all of your funds into their own separate places, I already feel so much more at ease when I think about where my moneys going. Would highly recommend for couples wanting to work together to be better with their money!

Amazing app for me and my partner.
My partner and I moved in together earlier this year. I was stressing for a while about how we would manage finances and how to split costs evenly. We considered opening a joint bank account with a local bank but it seemed like such a hassle. Through Tiktok, I had found out about Ivella and we have used it ever since! It was a super easy sign up process and we received our cards in the mail fast! It has put both of us at peace to know we can set aside money and that we can always just use our cards to split our shared costs evenly. And ivella’s customer support is great! I really recommend the app for couples or even roommates. It’s awesome!

More than a banking app!
My SO and I originally downloaded this app to make splitting our finances easier. Not only did Ivella exceed our expectations in that aspect but it also made such a complicated topic like handling money so much more fun! Here are some of our favorite features:
⭐️Split accounts: what drew us in to Ivella -- it's basically like venmo / splitwise but between couples. You can customize the ratios you're splitting an expense for (e.g. 70/30) and it just makes it SOOO much easier to go on dates and really focus on spending quality time together without the headache of sorting out who paid for what after.
⭐️Savings pods: since graduating college, my SO and I have been making it a goal to save money together, and savings pods have been a lifesaver for this. With 5.15% APY (3% higher than my bank!!), it feels like free money LOL. I also love how I can customize what I'm saving for (e.g. travel, house, emergency fund).
⭐️Daily prompts: unexpectedly our favorite part!! I rarely check my banking apps but answering these little prompts everyday (e.g. how can we support each other better?) have helped make it a habit to check my finances while growing closer together with my SO.

The best couple’s bank account!!
Me and my wife Henna have been with them since they had split accounts and we always loved how seamless and practical the app was. We used it for almost all of our transactions, from bills, to rent, to dinner… It’s made our lives easier and can’t imagine using another bank account.
Once they released their joint bank accounts, we found that it had all of the tools we needed. From saving pods (we used to fund our wedding), to even rewards, we’re amazed at how this app continues to improve. The team is great and Kahlil always listens to any feedback. I’m sure there will be more big things planned ahead! Can’t wait !
