This app is truly awful. It is clunky, has virtually zero functionality and is slow. For some reason you can no longer book first class on the app. To do that you have to go to the website, which looks like it hasnโt been updated since 1997.

Too simple with very little information on purchased tickets
I downloaded this app thinking that it would be similar in layout perhaps to that of Train line. Iโve been disappointed however and am unable to request refunds on it like I would elsewhere. Shows only tickets if theyโve been purchased as e-tickets. A bit more information please such as allowing refund requests to be made.

Poor
Bought tickets for a train which was cancelled. Was told the cost to claim money back would cost more than the original cost of the tickets.
Extremely impossible to make contact to sort this.
With the unreliability of trains at the moment, I wonโt be buying tickets through redspottedhanky again.

Fix your bugs
Sometimes just refuses to work and gives errors
App is fine, customer service is top notch
While the app is pretty basic and not as slick as some of the competitors, I have found the service from Red Spotted Hanky to be excellent. I have had a number of occasions over the years where I have had to change or refund tickets due to user error and the team are always quick to respond and super helpful.
Review drops a star as paying with Apple Pay is a bit problematic and often requires a few tries!

I have my doubts
Recently booked tickets online and downloaded the app. Only my outward journey ticket appeared. Had to purchase another ticket and ask for a refund. There is to be aware a 10 pounds admin fee. Went back to my app for my outward journey ticket strangely the ticket had disappeared after TSH said the fault was not theirs. So why have they changed account and removed my ticket. ๐ค
