  • Outstanding

I have about a dozen weather apps currently and Weather Strip is my favorite way to see the weather. It presents a clear, easy to digest weather forecast that is extremely dense with information. Such a great display that it would be IDEAL for a Home Screen widget - which would make it 5-star perfection.

  • My go to weather app.

I have had this app for about 7 months now. It is my daily weather check. It’s more accurate hourly for my area than many other apps I have had. The graph view is very user friendly. Being able to see when snow or rain is going to happen, how much and how long on a time graph is visually pleasing and accurate.
The yearly price of the app is very reasonable considering I use it daily. It’s updates are consistent. I recommend.

  • Favorite weather app

I love this presentation of the forecast. Such a clear way to see when the highs and lows will be.
I'd say there are only two things missing: 1) radar and 2) notifications (impending precipitation, watches, warnings, etc). But I still love this app without those. 5-star all the way. Keep up the great work!

  • Lovely presentation

I am always on the lookout for new weather apps that have interesting and useful layouts. This one is great! I love the quick timeline view of the week with easy-to-read metrics.

Update Feb 22: Moving from 4 to 5 stars now that the app has actual location search. That makes it much more useful when traveling. This is my go to weather app.

  • The best weather app

It took mere moments for me to realize this was the weather app for me. Everything I need is on one screen with no fuss. I hope that some other color or style themes are added in the future for some variety and personalization. The one major gripe I have is that the subscription is not able to be shared with my family. It’s one thing to sell me on a subscription (and it did that almost instantly) but quite another to expect me to get an additional subscription for every member of the family.

Good news — the latest version of Weather Strip now includes a Family Sharing option.
  • Great app, but one major flaw

I love the design of the app and it gives me more relevant information in a friendlier way than any other weather app I’ve tried. I subscribed as a result. The one glaring flaw is that the only way to choose a different location is by scrolling around a map. This is hugely inefficient and really hinders my ability to use this app for planning local travel or prepare for upcoming trips. I hope the developer adds the ability to search for locations or I won’t be a long-term subscriber.

Good news! Weather Strip can now search and list locations by name — including cities, addresses, parks, lakes, and more. Thanks for your input!
  • Convenient for Solar

I was looking for an app that would make forecasting cloud cover convenient and this one fits the bill. Beyond that it’s very interesting, intuitive and elegant. Honestly I don’t think I would change a thing about this app. Keep it simple and beautiful.
  • Very handy weather program

I am a bicycle commuter. This app makes it very easy to see the current & up coming weather. Presentation is great on iPad but needs portrait mode on iPhone. But it is still excellent on the iPhone. I stopped using my other weather apps
  • Excellent visualization but unreliable uptime

This app is one of the best visualization and easy to slide through single-handed. This developer is talented and I supported by subscribing. But the app keeps having server issues that says - NOAA server issues. I would gladly pay more if the app can be reliable. I hope the developer considers other data sources like Dark Sky.

Additionally, I wish there was a watch app and an iOS widget. Without them, I still have to have some other weather app.

  • Beautiful, clever UX design!

First, pay for this app. It’s great, and great things deserve money.

The app packs so much data visually into one simple chart that any fan of Edward Tufte will just drool over how thoughtful and clever the experience is. It has a simple, timeless feel—honestly, the weather graph could be printed in the newspaper and it would still be just as useful. Kudos to Robin Stewart and Math Easel for creating a masterpiece of visual information design!
