Offline Downloads Taken Away

Why has this functionality been removed from the latest app update. This was the feature I used the most so I could access the course material on my commute to and from work?

New update, no offline videos

Beware of the new update, it removes the ability to download videos for offline viewing. I loved this feature for times I’m on the train with no signal.

Decent app so far, lots of annoying notifications

I just purchased the photography school app and I like the few lessons I’ve watched so far. However, the ads that keep popping up for the photo editing and other upsell products are obnoxious and distracting. it’s making me consider just asking for a refund. One of the typical benefits of purchasing an app is to stop the annoying ads.

Didn’t teach me anything I allready knew.

I feel it didn’t give me anything, it was short, and I honestly find the guy kind of annoying. Regret buying this app. First course is extremely short and then you realize you need to buy more and more courses.

You can learn all this stuff for free

I purchased the first course and got through 3 sessions barely. He talks too much and teaches too little in each class. I have learned more faster from TikTok videos. His courses are very over priced. There is lots of beautiful scenery, but he takes way too long to get the point across. He also excludes some very basic photography rules that should be taught first. He leaves them out to keep you coming back for more. He is obviously making a ton of money even at 85% offers.

Good course but beware the hard upsell

This course is well organised and so far I reckon it was worth the “discounted” price. Although be warned: Once you sign up for the photography course you will be absolutely bombarded by emails and popups trying to upsell you the editing course at another invented massive discount. Makes the whole thing feel like a trap. For this reason I have reduced my review from five stars to three stars.

Please stop the email spam and misleading discounts

I enjoy some of the videos, but on an almost daily basis I’m constantly getting email spam’s from you saying “SORRY….”, “I can’t”… saying that their courses are being discounted for the last time… but it’s been “discounted” for months or even years. The false advertising and constant spamming has put me off their services.

A scam app?

Paid for courses yet cannot access content. Specifically the Instagram academy. Keep getting messages with more offers though. I want my money back.

Love it on IPhone Need it on Vision Pro

I love CamGuru using it on my IPhone, mush better than the browser version. I am about to get my Vision Pro (don’t own an IPad). Is it set up in the App Store to install on my Vision Pro? I don’t find it in the Vision Pro App Store yet.

We are happy to hear that you’re enjoying CamGuru on your iPhone! Regarding your upcoming Vision Pro. The headset is expected to have its own dedicated App Store. While our app is not currently available in the Vision Pro App Store, keep an eye out for updates. Apps designed for iPad and iPhone will eventually be automatically imported to the Vision Pro.

It’s great, but

So far the course is excellent, but the constant daily emails trying to sell me something else that’s on a vast discount are really annoying. Once a week or once a fortnight are acceptable, not every day.

Secondly, the discounted price is the realistic SRP for what they are selling as well, so it’s not actually discounted, just ridiculously expensive.

The course itself seems good, but had I known I’d of looked at UDemy instead, the courses are cheaper and you don’t have the pain of being bombarded with SPAM emails.
