  • Used to work ok, now just annoyed

The Sole+ app always double, sometimes triple, logs workouts to the health app. Then about a week or two ago the app stopped syncing my Apple Watch heart rate. I may just uninstall and go back to using the built in Apple Watch workout app so my data logs correctly.

Update 8/20: Apple Watch heart rate is fixed, but this app still double posts to Apple health. I’ll give an extra star for the response.

  • WiFi and Bluetooth quit working

After only 30 hours of use, the wifi and Bluetooth quit working on treadmill. I have contacted customer support multiple times with no response except they say that they will “either look into it or they tell me to contact someone else”. Without Bluetooth or wifi this app is useless, the treadmill does not sync with my Garmin or Apple Watch and I can’t use any of the apps on the tablet/screen. Waste of money, I could have purchased a cheaper treadmill if I just wanted a belt to run on 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 if you search, you will several people are having the same problem. & The machine can’t update if it can’t connect to wifi.

  • Doesn’t work… useless!

It doesn’t matter how many times I connect the app to my F63 treadmill via Bluetooth it fails to save the workout every time! It makes the audible beep to indicate that it’s connected and ending the workout but it never saves it to my history. I’ve probably ran 25 miles this week but there’s no record of it in the app! 🤷🏼

I give up on this app… it used to be worthwhile but it’s broken more than it works. It’s time to delete this garbage and stick with my other tracking options..

  • Does not consistently record data correctly

The time/date recorded on app for a saved workout does not always match the time/date of my iphone. Example : used treadmill from 11:15 - 12:56 pm on June 6. App recorded data as June 7 @ 12:23 a.m. This happens sporadically.

Other issue, after saving workout, there is often quite a long delay in displaying workout and when it does display sometimes there are two/three duplicate entries.

Thank you for your feedback. The time displayed for exercise records is the start time plus exercise time. Regarding delays and duplicate recording issues, optimization has been made in the new version.
  • Frustrated

My SOLE+ calories are not reflecting on my iPhone activity. I have reset both phone and watch. I delete my SOLE+ app and redownloaded. I have upgraded both my phone and watch this past month and nothing the SOLE+ info still won’t reflect properly. I have checked settings for SOLE+, activity and privacy settings, etc on both my phone and watch. Now trying to add the workout manually to get my calories to work on my phone won’t even reflect properly. It’s making my workouts more stressful.

please check if you have disabled the access permission of Apple health to SOLE+. you should open the read/write permission to SOLE+ in your Apple health.
  • Recording workouts that don’t happen

Love that the Apple Watch integration has been added but why is this now recording a 0 minute workout every day without me having started a workout and occasionally workouts with time but no activity? I’m also regularly getting double recordings.

    Developer Response

Did you tap "End & Save Workout" button on iPhone SOLE+ after workout? please remember to click the button to close the connection between SOLE+ on Apple watch and SOLE+ on iPhone. thanks.
  • Better than expected:)

I LOVE coach Claude’s workouts! I used to see the treadmill as a way to skimp by until it was warm outside again but now I love the internal training aspect! I feel like the coaching has gotten so much better lately too! Excited to see it continue:)

    thanks.
  • Glitchy

I downloaded the app to help chronicle my workouts on my Sole treadmill. The app is logging multiple times for each work out - I have six identical logs of a run earlier this week! I have to manually go in to correct the multiple logs.

It also doesn't sync to Apple Health, which is mildly annoying.

  • Apple Watch Heart Rate

Love the update to include Apple Watch heart rate. Almost got a competitor’s treadmill because there were ways to do this on theirs. Now I have the best of both worlds!
  • Apple Watch and Strava issues

I only tried this app once. Heart Rate display stopped working a few minutes into my run. That is the key metric I wanted to be able to see on my phone. It’s also mostly missing in the history section of the app. I can see heart rate for the entire workout from the fitness app but not in the Sole+ app while running.

The graphs in the history are bar charts with no labels on the X axis so they are not useful. The splits picked by the app are random/non-standard. And look to be off. For example the in a 4.0 mile run the splits were for 0.68, 1.25, 1.88, 2.5, 3.12, 3.75, 4.38. The last one being farther than I ran. The #s didn’t match the treadmill pace that was on the display when the pace had been steady across the intervals (I doubt it reads actual speed so either the app or the treadmill seem to be doing some math wrong). Also the last interval showed a pace outside the range of my workout.

Export to Strava uses the end time as the start time which is wrong and causes issues with an extra workout being imported back into Apple heath for me. Distance was also off. I noticed distance on the phone display was lagging behind the treadmill and the number sent to Strava was close but also less than both the treadmill or app. Also none of the pace or HR info is sent to Strava. It appears to be just time and distance but since both are wrong what is the point?

Apple Watch looks to be new as of a few days ago so I hope this is fixed soon.
