SoSmart

used PO3M reliably over COVID, passing readings verbally. today realised it had BLE, so i charged & connected. it had all my readings & i even synched with phone. felt such a dunce, no more & hope they make blood pressure devices too

I trust the accuracy

I do wonder about the accuracy of the readings and I don’t have much confidence in them. I took my blood pressure at 10:40 pm according to the screen snap that I took and yet their results record the blood pressure is having been taken at 10:45 pm. What’s with that? I did log it with them some time back and they’re only response was to tell me to delete the app and reinstall it which I have done which hasn’t fixed it and now they keep spamming me with emails supposedly following up on their not so brilliant suggestion for fixing the app.

Oxygen levels

Blood Pressure Monitoring

I recently I recently started having high blood pressure problems as a result of a spinal cord injury that on August 22, 2019 .
Prior to this time I did not have high blood pressure and it’s been frightening going through this process.
Having this blood pressure monitoring machine allows me the opportunity to, see my blood pressure daily weekly monthly as needed, and also gives me the security of knowing that my medical care is being monitored by a team who is also assessing an evaluating my blood pressure every day.
For instance, if it spikes up too high, they will give me a time to take my blood pressure reading again and it just gives me peace of mind, knowing that I I have a medical team along with my primary care, Dr. Cortez to support me and my quest for living a better quality of life.
My goal is to do my part so that I get better and that I live longer .

Serious bug so careful

This app and the device KN 550 BT have been a great improvement over my previous blood pressure meter. However, today I encountered a bug that changed my opinion. While trying to transfer 31 records, the app said it had a communications error. When I retried, there were only seven records to transfer. So their protocol for transferring is not reliable and when it didn’t complete the transfer it lost 24 records or almost a months worth of my data. That’s irretrievable data. I can’t give this a very good rating.

Piece of cake to use

I’m happy with how consistently easy it has been to use over the years.I have had the same cuff and pulse ox meter for quite a few years and it is still compatible with the app and they keep it up-to-date unlike most products that every two years it seems to go out of date and no longer sync with your devices.I am on a budget due to disability, and I like that I don’t have to go out and buy new equipment every couple of years to keep track of my health

Just took a dive

This app was excellent (5-srar) all the way. But now it has taken a nose dive I would say to maybe two or three stars. I sometimes have to manually enter information for my weight and details of my other smart scale. It has most of the same categories of information. The app used to allow you to do this but now all of the sudden you can only answer weight and fat, all the other details are not available in the entry. It really is sad. I also use the BP monitor and the O2 sensor from the iHealth line of products. I was getting ready to buy an iHealth thermometer. But of course, they ruined the app. Now I need to start looking for another manufacturer and start all over again.

The perfect app for me

I have hypertension and this app serves my needs I especially like the graph and the numeric data list. I can fill in which arm I used as sometimes they are very different readings
All Data gets sent to my iPhone. I visit my Dr frequently due to his guidelines for me. All I do is leave my iPhone on the counter and he has my whole picture in his hand. I am 72 years old . Tech savvy.

Worked great until it didn’t… then it did.

Less than a week, and it takes forever to download a single reading. Eventually times out and looses the data.

I’m updating this review because it’s working again and has been for several weeks. I guess they had some network server problems. Still not sure why their network is involved in me downloading data between the machine and my phone via Bluetooth. A little creepy that some external server is involved in the process of transferring my private health data.

I’d raise to 5 stars if this weren’t the case.

Easy and Accurate

I have used a number of other apps to track vitals and this one beats them hands down. One of the apps I tried would cut my pulse rate by half when it was racing. I appreciate the accuracy of this app and the way it tracks trends over time. It interfaces easily with iHealth. The only thing I wish it would do is recognize the iWatch as a fitness tracker so everything would be in the app.
