Leave a Review Simon's Cat
A really fun wholesome game
This game is for most age levels. Simon’s cats are true to life cute and trouble makers. You can skip the story and play just the game via a couple key strokes each turn. The game is matching and gently progresses in difficulty the longer you play it. You do have to play this actual matching game to earn a type of “token”. These tokens (not coins for spending or extending your turn) allow you to play the story mode updating your garden and interacting with neighbors. This game has a lot of personality. The music is repetitive but not annoying. I’m on level 81ish and I haven’t experienced any “glitches”. I got the App through Apple Arcade so there aren’t any pauses nor interruptions of advertisements. :^). Thanks for the entertainment!Show lessI don't like match games
I find them boring and tedious. The only reason I download this one was because it was in the Arcade and thus had no in-app purchases. I was pleasantly surprised. It's something I play in spurts, not like a multi-hour Sims 4 gaming session. It's enjoyable and the sound effects are easy on the ears. The animals are cute and their animations are adorable. The facial expressions of the cat always make me smile. The main thing I like is that if I fail a level repeatedly, it gets easier and easier until I finish the level. There's no buying of gems or whatever to be able to finish a level. I'd say this is a match game for people who, like me, don't care for match games. Cheers to Apple and the developer for making this available in the Arcade.Show lessFun story and game
This is a fun game and a nice way to spend some time. The illustrations are very good and the story is engaging. The options for customizing the gardens are really cool, I hope it will be possible to make some wild areas in the future versus being all formal. I like the additional stories you can do now. There are good side games as well, to keep things interesting and earn coins or stars. The developers did a good job adding more variety to the daily Top Cat game, it was repeating often and they’ve added more layouts (thank you!). I love the cat path game Dawn Patrol. One thing I wish it didn’t have, and this is a super small detail, is characters clapping when a task or item is completed. This reminds me of a certain other gardening game which has a really creepy guy. Simon is much more wholesome and shouldn’t need that cheesy gimmick. UPDATE: I love the weekly throwback videos! And I love that some animals from the story stay visible in the gardens once the story is complete. I keep checking the trees for owls and the dens for other creatures, just in case you add any. :) ALSO, can you make an “endless” game where there’s no time limit, you just try to get the highest score for as long as you are willing to play? Would be so fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall the game is one of the brightest stars in Apple Arcade and something other developers should aspire to!Show less
