Glitchy inconsistent dated app
The Fairfax Water app is dated, glitchy and works inconsistently. Much easier to login to the website or schedule an online payment through your checking account than to use the app.
Fairfax Water, you need to improve the interface and reliability of your app. I just logged into the app. It froze, I was unwilling to use any functions. I deleted the app and will simply use my online checking account for scheduling payments. Sad.

Reliably unreliable
Crashes every time I try to make a payment.
iOS 17 crashes
Only going to see your balance can’t pay or do anything else that requires interacting with the app.
Frequent crashes
The app seems to be unusable on iOS 17. It crashes frequently, often when trying to make a pulldown menu selection. This means I can’t use it to pay my bill because I need to select a bank account, which triggers a crash. Attempting to report problems also causes the app to crash when selecting a topic. About all can do is use it to find out how much I owe.

Terribly Small Font
It’s the smallest font I’ve ever seen on an iPhone app
Poor App
This app uses UIWebView, which is an ancient, insecure iOS technology to present a website in an app. UIWebView can do stuff like jack your http requests and proxy it through anything the developer chooses.

Unwise Management
Better, cleaner app. Allows for Touch ID which is nice. But c’mon.. let us know when you’re changing. Had issues first when you didn’t let us know you updating the site and I had a payment due that week. Then you didn’t let us know you completely changed apps. Common sense would indicate you would inform your customers about the switches and not just leave us in the dark. Trying to collect late payments or something?

Pain in the kiester
You could have updated the old app rather than replace it with a new app without notifying your customers. For weeks I’ve received a message that something was wrong and to try again later. Frustrated I deleted the old app and when I went to reload it I found a new app in its place.
