  • Still no fix for cheaters

Update appears to make money only. Keep reporting that higher ranked players leave mid-game in Gin Rummy if I am winning with no penalty for them, and no reward for me. They maintain their rank like little children, allowed by game makers. I stopped playing for several months because it got so disgusting. returned to see no fix, but ways to spend money. Won’t be long before I leave again.
No incentive to improve. Developers don’t listen.

  • Solitaire is included and has a few good themes for cards/tables

Solitaire is included with 1/3 card draw. Only issue is if you lose connection or background the app you can’t rejoin despite there being a rejoin prompt and have to close the app from app switcher and reopen it forcing you to start over. What the point of a single player game if you can’t play it offline or switch to a different app temporarily and come back to it later? If your sole goal is solitaire look else where. But this does have multiplayer if that’s more your jam. I think gin rummy and hearts and spades is on here for online play.

  • One major flaw

I really like this game and the absence of ads. The big problem though is that in playing against others (at least in gin rummy) players can quit mid-game with no penalty. That means strong players quit when they are losing so their rank is not affected. You need to fix this so that “honest” competitive players are not penalized for playing out a losing game. Basically once you start a game, your points should be at risk. Perhaps you could offer forfeits mid game where players would only lose 5 points rather than 9 or 10.

  • Everything is too small

The application is stable — runs fine. But the layout is poor for my phone. The cards and buttons (like PASS) are too small and there’s too much dead space on the table. If that space were reduced, the cards could be bigger. Another suggestion: other players’ hands could be smaller to reduce table dead space. It’s also a bit of a bummer there aren’t more public players. Maybe a more manageable screen layout would help?

  • Didn’t rate until they added a store.

It’s a free app to burn time. So it doesn’t have to be perfect. It successfully burns time but it errors out frequently and pops up “continue without leader board?” or “timed out” while playing solitaire. I’m burning time not competing for a spot on a solitaire leader board. I would expect if they’ve created a leader board then I could look up some numbers on my solitaire game too but nope. No average game score, personal records, nada.

No problem, free game to burn time no need to review. Now they’ve spent the effort to create an in game store to “purchase” virtual card designs. Add in the more frequent errors and I’m probably going to delete this one.

  • Does card games well, but the competitive leaderboard is broken.

I’ve been playing for a few months, and I have fun playing the Gin Rummy game the most. I found that when people quit the game early, the game counts as a non-win/non-lose for both players and no adjustments are made to the scoreboard.

At the higher competitive ranks, players will just quit whenever they are about to lose, preventing other players from being able to climb the leaderboard. It would make sense to have it so that if your opponent disconnects, it counts as a win for you so that you can continue to climb the leaderboard.

  • The cheating!

Hey devs, The cheating is defeating the purpose of having a ranking system since All the top ranked guys I played leave the match when losing. There’s no penalty given for a player disconnecting mid game. There should be. Internet connectivity is widely available and if it were the case that someone lost connectivity well shame on you for playing irresponsibly. However the cheating IS HAPPENING! If you want to know why the user base is so low, it’s cause there is so much cheating. Fix it and I will praise your app up and down, you can build a user base, continue to reinvest in and develop the app further and succeed in bringing classic card games into the homes of people across multiple generations, including new ones! The app is gorgeous, truly! It is smooth and fast loading, but I implore you for the success of the project, fix this exploit. If this isn’t fixed you’ll have zero player base. However, I’m starting to think you like it this way. If you fix it make it widely known cause you’ll get players back, otherwise it’s a beautiful app for no purpose other than some niche group who favor cheating to get ahead.

  • Love it! Could be better!

I would love to give this app 5 stars but there are a few things that need tweaked.
1 - Gin Runny: anytime your opponent quits you have no gain for them leaving the game. If you are winning and they leave for not being able to win themselves, there is no gain to your rank which is very frustrating. If you quit/leave a game your rank should drop as well.
2 - Also in Gin Rummy: it would be a nice touch to be able to arrange your cards or at least shift from arrangement by suit to arrangement by numbers.
3 - General: this is not specific game play but I do wish more people played so you wouldn’t have to wait so long for 4 player games to start. Maybe the option to start play with a bot would be nice to get things moving.

  • Great app, online play needs improvement

This card app has a great feel and I love that there are zero ads. On the flipside, online play is frustrating when players quit or disconnect which automatically ends the game for everyone. My suggestion is for the app developer to create a work around such as (1) make an AI player take the quitters place thereby continuing the game; and/or (2) deducting leaderboard points from those that quit or disconnect. I’m looking forward to seeing how great this app will be! Keep it up!

  • ALMOST 5 STARS

Why, when I’m playing Solitaire against the computer do I need to be kicked off for being idle? Who on the other end is upset if I have to use the bathroom, answer the door, answer the phone, pour a glass of soda, make a sandwich, get a snack…….you get the picture. Everyone’s day is full of small distractions and I’m sure the computer doesn’t give a darn. I would also like to see an option of switching the solitaire deck to the right side of the screen. I play with my right hand and it’s as awkward reaching across the screen as it is to play with my left hand. Despite these two complaints I have to say that I think the game plays well and I’m enjoying it more than most of the other ones I’ve played, and I check every day hoping to see that Euchre is up and running. How much longer?
I wrote back in May wondering how long before Euchre, my favorite card game, is up and working. It says coming soon but I think soon has come and gone and I’m still wondering. Would love a reply with an estimate.
