Macro tracking isn’t great

The macro tracking isn’t the best and doesn’t have most of the things I would normally eat(Cronometer, a different application works well if you’re looking for something like that) but other than that it’s an amazing app and definitely has helped with my wrestling skills. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to improve in any sport.

Best App for Athletes

This app has the best necessities for an athlete to get to the next level. I have tried many fitness and nutrition apps but none of them have compared to this.

Great app

Great training program and nutrition plans love that is has top athletes from all different sports and as a wrestler this app is very beneficial. Overall great app

ATAC App!

This is a great app! Very helpful with guidance with everything an athlete needs! 100% recommend!

Like it but needs more flexibility

I really like it but it’s hard for multi sport athletes cause it only focuses on one pursuit I think that you should be able to have a plan made for multiple pursuits such as 2 sports and lifting and things like that

Ratings are awesome!

My favorite part about this is that I feel like a video game character with stats. It’s really cool how you can train varying aspects and watch your ratings improve. It’s a great app.

Idk

I guess I don’t have a rating because I downloaded it because all the ads said it was free until I got all my info in and it wanted me to pay so I guess I wish they had said you had to pay for it in the adds

Very difficult to use and not intuitive

I used it for the first time yesterday, and it seems very difficult to use. Before I got started, I had to enter a lot of statistics like my one rep max, my weight, etc. Then it spit out a program that asks me to do three sets of each exercise. However, at the beginning of each exercise, there is a warm-up set. After that’s done, and asks you to input how difficult it was. And then it asks you to do the maximum number of reps for a higher weight. After I log that set, it moves on to the next exercise without offering me says two and three to log.

When I try to enter what I eat for breakfast, it has over 30 choices of different foods none of which was what I ate. It has a lot of different choices of Kellogg and Kashi brand cereals, but doesn’t even have a simple bowl of cereal as a choice. So, after scrolling up and down for a few minutes, I gave up because it doesn’t have what I ate on the list.

Today, I try to use it again and right away and asks me for all the same stats I already put in yesterday. It looks like I have to establish my profile all over again.

I am unsubscribing just after one day of this trial. It just seems a bit too tough to use.

Response from developer

Thanks for downloading ATAC and testing it out. I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. The 2nd request for your stats was a bug that has been resolved. For the strength training, once you get through the tests, every set rep and weight is prescribed for you for a 5 week progressive program; then you will need to retest and keep making gains. Unfortunately for us, it seems as though you did not get that far into the program to see it's full potential. The logging functionality for nutrition does have a lot of options, sorry you couldn't find what you are looking for. The primary functionality of the nutrition portion of the app is meal planning. When you choose ATAC it, you are able to pick 4 foods (one from each category) from a much, much smaller list, and ATAC will prescribe the exact serving sizes for you to reach your weight goals (lose weight, gain weight, stay the same). I hope you come back and give us another shot sometime!! 💪

It’s too good to be true

I’m sure saying it’s too good to be true is a little dramatic, but there’s a lot of bugs with the workouts. I can’t start my workouts because the baseline tests aren’t working. Specifically, it won’t let me press the next button after typing my max rep count. Also, for some reason the app consistently freezes after turning my phone off then opening the app again. Besides that I have no idea how effective or ineffective the app is at meeting goals, but I really hope those small bugs get fixed so I can try it out.
